Recently bought a set of Brooks GTS 23 about 3 weeks ago. Thanks to the adrenaline I was able to get back into running since I had stopped because my Posterior tendon was flaring up since my feet tend to pronate. Today I went to my local sole to soul store because I wanted to have a second pair of shoes to alternate between my runs. The employee recommends the wave inspire 20 after trying them on in the store they felt like they would work just as the Brooks, but boy was I wrong. Not even 4 hours after buying them I noticed my Posterior tendon starting to flare up again just by walking. Just like he mentioned in the video the brooks have a better mid arch support to help those who’s feet tend to pronate. So I will be going back to the store to exchange them for another pair of brooks. Just my two cents Incase anyone else suffers from foot pronation.
Thanks man, was going for brooks and gonna eventually get kayano, trued them on, have to try them on treadmill then hopefully get a pair. My posterior tendon also flares up often so thanks for the comment
Been having some low soleus and PF issues since my last race, so I actually splurged on both of these. Definitely a bit of an adjustment but I agree that the GTS feels slightly more "snappy." Both feel very solid and stable underfoot though, and quite comfortable in terms of fit.
@@jeffreykatz1330 I liked the Wave Inspire a bit better. My wide feet fit just slightly more comfortably, and the foam is slightly softer (but not at ALL squishy) than the Brooks. Now, there is v24 out now I think of the Adrenaline, so they could be better. But I ended up really liking the Wave Inspire.
i've got poor ankle mobility etc, but also have a bad knee and super tight hip flexors. hard for me to decide what kind of stack to get. i have the adrenaline 21 gts, what are some alternatives? and what stack would you recommed
I am sure the kid has a healthy relationship with shoes by now. First words: heel bevel.. 😉
Second words: it depends 😅

Love the comparison and also the baby reviews.
Would love some more info on the Adrenaline's medial post. Cut one in half?
What a perfect ending!
Your breakdowns and very useful, tip of the hat sir
Great review! Isabella needs a spike review… this little one will be hurdling soon 😂

@@theodorebutryn8832thank you for your reply. Do you think that the Mizuno Inspire could accommodate inserts?

For me the Brooks win this challenge hands down!
