Bro thank you so much for this video. People don't understand keeping a bald head is actually more maintenance that you would think. I've been having some pretty bad breakouts after using the electric shaver so I think this process is going to help minimize that. I def got a list of items to buy now. Loving this black man specific content. Much needed!👌🏾

After using the Gillette ProShield razor to shave my head, for over seven years, I discovered the Microtouch Titanium head shaver. No more nicks, cuts, or bumps! Just like it says on the label. No more razors. Many companies sell there own version of the multi head rotary shaver. They all work pretty much the same way. These devices are the real "game changers" when it comes to avoiding irritation when shaving our heads. After the very first use, which took less than five minutes, I knew I'd never use a razor again.

THE 10 COMMANDMENTS PREVENTING OF INGROWN HAIRS:
    1. THOU SHALT NOT USE DIRTY BLADES!
Using a blade that's been used way too many times. Yes, this one may be obvious, but be sure to keep your used tools as clean as possible. Soap and rubbing alcohol will destroy bacteria.
    2. HONOR THY DELICATE SKIN!
Too many blades! If you are prone to ingrown hairs then you don’t need 3 or more blades.
    3. DO NOT TAKE PREP TIME IN VAIN!
You should be using a warm/hot water prep (5 mins). Then leave the shaving creme on for more than 3 minutes to really soften the hair. The hair stubble should literally fall away with little or no pressure at all. Pressing hard is the problem! Be gentle ya'll.
    4. THOU SHALT NOT GO AGAINST THE GRAIN!
Shaving against the grain. Shave in the direction of hair growth (usually down, but perform a face map to be sure).
    5. THOU SHALT NOT PRESS!
Pressing too hard on the skin with the blade. A gliding, light touch is all you need. This is likely your biggest issue.
    6. THOU SHALT NOT PASS!
Too many quick passes with the blade. One pass per hairy area - going 1-2 inches downward at a time - will prevent ingrown hairs. Always shave like you might cause damage, not like your mowing the front yard lawn.
    7. THOU SHALT NOT COMMIT OVER SHAVING!
Shaving too many times. This rule is hard to follow, especially if you have to shave for your career but if you are prone to ingrowns, try shaving with an electric clipper. The results are not super close but no one but you will know the difference. Ladies, try waxing.
    8. THOU SHALT NOT CLOG!
Use of skin/pore clogging creams or lotions. These keep hairs from growing up. After a shave, keep your skin bare; let the tiny army breath, and allow those newly shaved, really small, microscopic hairs to grow out just in time for the next shave.
    9. KEEP THE SKIN FREE!
Avoid tight fitting clothing around the Adam’s apple (neck) and/or below the waistline region.
    10. REMEMBER TO EXFOLIATE!
Not enough exfoliation to remove excess layers of skin. Use a skin care brush for razor bumps as directed. Brushes also tease the hairs away from entering the skin. Try a Wizker brush and you’ll prevent razor bumps and ingrown hairs permanently!

You can grab SP now at Walmart or Target if you wanna get your hands on it quick. I have a link in my bio you could try too. My affiliate code isnt working at the moment unfortunately as its a glitch on SP side..still trying to get that fixed. I havent had the pleasure of using BEVEL yet. I initially loved the reviews I saw early on when they were starting about thier clipper line, but felt it was just too expensive. I do what I call a general wash EVERY DAY when I take a shower. I keep the water on the cold/luke warm side...and will use my scotch porter face wash to hit my beard/face/and head. That's usually my everyday go to quick routine. Sometimes if I am lazy and dont want to shower, will do the same routine in the sink...whether its face wash or beard wash i like to use it to keep everything clean...then move forward with some oil or balm on head or beard...hope that makes sense and thanks for connecting!
