When the organist is a choir conductor, she can direct an organ to sound exactly like she wants. These ladies sounded amazing. Reminds me of The Aeoleans of Oakwood under Ferdinand.
It looks like they are all so happy with the acoustics of that space enhancing their fine performance. Their expressions say "wow!". I couldn't agree more.
Exquisite! Anna, you have brought these young women along to a whole new level of excellence. They will treasure this beautiful experience all the days of their lives. What a gift. ❤
I like how she's spread her red jacket to other people, and turned it into choir gown. Hopefully they put out a Christmas album. that shit will be fire af
So beautiful! I wish I could experience this in person in the same space. The acoustics of the room are just perfect for acapella singing. The blend of voices is perfectly balanced. Such a joy to listen to.
Well, that was an experience of beauty. Such a well blended sound from your charges. The held tone clusters were simply perfect. The engagement of each singer is visible and reflects the message of the music. The cutoffs were spot on. Attention to dynamics was right where it should be. The entire piece was executed with beauty, grace and affection. Anna, they are blesses to have you as their conductor. I wish to see and hear more from this group. With respect and love from Arizona, USA
Such a deliciously delicate piece and performed with grace and sensitivity. Anna, your conducting style brings out the very soul of the music. It is obvious that you have a strong rapport with your choristers. Even in their high register, the first sopranos sing effortlessly and pure in tone, floating above like angels. We are truly blessed to be hearing this exquisite music, Anna. Congratulations on having your solo concert at Royal Albert Hall in May!!!
I'm hearing the angels again !!! Please! Record Mozart's "Ave Verum Corpus" K.618 on RUclips .. and you guys must look for a label like Harmonia Mundi 8-)
Beautiful setting of these words. The emphasis on "Seek Ye" is especially poignant. And the dissonance at certain points just reaches out and demands the listener's attention to what is being conveyed. Is this an original setting from Anna or the Choir, or someone else?
So sorry to read this… i do not understand what it brings…. tbh it is your loss.. this choir uses this costume and color loooong before the book (and movie) did appear…
Not seeing what you are referring to mate. No compasses, squares, plumb lines. Nothing that refers to the Knights Templar. Could you be more specific? Pembroke College’s chapel in Cambridge, was designed by Sir Christopher Wren and consecrated in 1665, does not prominently feature Masonic symbols. The chapel’s architecture aligns with Wren’s classical design approach and includes notable elements such as stained glass windows dedicated to college benefactors, particularly in honor of mathematician George Stokes. The style and ornamentation-while intricate, including plaster ceilings and classic proportions-are generally rooted in Wren’s Baroque and Classical architectural influences rather than Masonic iconography. Wren’s work on the chapel predated the formal establishment of modern Freemasonry in 1717.
Absolutely cannot wait for Christmas with losts of choral beuties from Anna and the gang!
I'd pay good money to see Sony Classical release it as 'Anna and the Gang' 👌🏻

Anna, you are a gift to the world !!!!
They seem to be lifted up by a kind teacher. Every voice makes the other shine. A joy to behold.

Such a sound of peace. Thanks Ladies.
Well done, ladies. That was beautiful.
I’m sure a lot of work went into that and it all paid off wonderfully.
You should be very proud of yourselves.
These girls will one day tell others "I was taught to sing by Anna Lapwood", and the response will be "Wow! Really?".
Or they tell others that they found God by this song 😉. Same response is the result 😇…
Their performance was so beautiful. Thanks for sharing to the world!
UNBELIEVABLE PERFORMANCE!! ❤😊❤😊❤😊❤❤😊❤😊😊❤❤😊❤
Beautiful! Anna, you never disappoint! You and your girls are outstanding! 👍🏻🎅👍🏻
Just ….. amazing and ethereal,

I like how she's spread her red jacket to other people, and turned it into choir gown. Hopefully they put out a Christmas album. that shit will be fire af
I'm pretty sure that's a standard Anglican style choir cassock.
So beautiful! I wish I could experience this in person in the same space. The acoustics of the room are just perfect for acapella singing. The blend of voices is perfectly balanced. Such a joy to listen to.
Absolutely Beautiful 🌹🙏

"No one expects the Pembroke College Girls' Choir!!!"

Anna's gunna direct the choirs in Heaven, mark my words.
I might, if they were in fact, real words.
@@ashleyhoward8926 lmao it, in fact, is simply an analogy highlighting how incredible her talent is.
Would it be possible to cc the words in English?
Who composed this ethereal piece based on words which are a vital instruction to humanity?
Kerensa Briggs

I apologize for this comment, great music, but all I see is with the red robes is "The Handmaid's Tale Choir".
So sorry to read this… i do not understand what it brings…. tbh it is your loss.. this choir uses this costume and color loooong before the book (and movie) did appear…
You are worried about a fiction that isn't happening whilst 500 million women are subject to Sharia law. Yes, you should apologise.
Oh thank God this wasn't the Lafferty abomination I feared it might have been. Now only lacking a "bonobo remix" ;)
Beautiful except for all the masonic imagery. You & the ladies preformed gorgeously.
What is wrong with "masonic imagery"?
