There are some remixes that just shouldn't be.... Then there are remixes that just are astounding and better than the original. I am happy to say this is one of those.
I found a similarity for the characters of this grouping: Sayo, Evangeline, and Chachamaru were the only students to not go onto the field trip to Kyoto/Nara, and were the three missing students of Group 6.
While I enjoyed the series long before I came across this song, I was such a huge fan of this track in particular, it led me to create and manage a Negima fansite.
Considering the lyrics, this version sounds so much better than the original, imo. Not that the original is bad, just that this fits the mood so well... Haunting and beautiful...
I wouldn't mind finding piano music for this song...And as cool and energetic as the rock version is...you can really understand what they're singing in this version...and I couldn't really hear Sayo anywhere in the rock version. If someone knows where I can get a piano compilation for this song, hook a guy up, please?
Yeah but Eva and Chachamaru got to be there on the last day of the trip anyways as a reward for their aid in stopping Chigusa and the Ogre God. Still, I see what you mean. Sayo was an invisible ghost, Eva couldn't leave due to Nagi's spell and Chachamaru wished to stay by her master's side even though Eva said that she could go to Kyoto if she wanted.
One detail, Sayo doesn't sing in it, i can only distincly hear 2 different voices, one more childish (Eva) and the other, deeper and more grown up woman alike (Chachamaru).
青春の一曲だったな~

"It becomes a regret forever. Freedom in the mind is abandoned. It is not noticed; that is a good phantom." I think.
