iPledge Allegiance: Behind the Scenes with Michelle Obama on the Set of iCarly

What do you get when you mix together Michelle Obama and Miranda Cosgrove? Give up? A brand new "iCarly", that's what! The First Lady will be appearing on the Nickelodeon series this Monday, January 16th to bring awareness to ways kids can support U.S. military families.
In the episode "iMeet the First Lady," Mrs. Obama talks to Carly about her service to America as a member of a military family and thanks her friends for supporting Carly during her father's deployment.
"She's actually here to talk about her initiative Joining Forces which is about supporting families in the U.S. military," said Jennette McCurdy during our behind the scenes interview.
"In this episode Carly is really missing her dad," adds Miranda. "Mrs. Obama comes and visits Carly, Sam and Freddie and talks to them about how important her dad's job is."

@unku Obviously you have an agenda & my comment had nothing at all to do with what you ranted about nor what the First Lady's purpose was. This isn't about being pro or anti-war; it's about supporting our troops & their families. Regardless of what one's stance is on us being there, we all need to support these brave families. There was no indoctrinating. A character's father is in the military, so this fit with the storyline and was a useful tool to help real families. Read & listen next time.
