    Yo, everybody I know has had a fall recently. I went off very unexpectedly at 30 mph after hitting a recessed manhole lid. I followed the tuck and roll protocol and broke my collarbone.
    My favorite thing is reading peoples tips about "you should have followed my 17 point procedure to falling off a skateboard. I did this and I just got a few scratches".
    If anyone goes off a board at 25 mph or faster and doesn't have an injury afterwards, they either saw it coming or they got lucky.

      I fell recently but got lucky. I kinda did a front roll and landed on my ass. Best case scenario for a fall going about 27mph I still have a random pain ln my ribs and a scrape on my waist the size of my palm. My fault tho. Didn't do a board check before bringing it out and 2 of the screws were loose.

    Sorry for being a prick, but the fourth thing is definitely your stance, you are too stiff, you got to bend those knees more, plus you don't take advantage of the dropdowns (I see the board wobbling a bit even before the crash). To be fair, I don't think DKP are safe past 25 mph (even more if they were not carefully set up) and that would be the main reason to me. Wish you a fast recovery !

    DOUBLE KING PIN TRUCKS ARE DANGEROUS AND DO MOT BELONG ON ANY ESK8!! Man I feel u so much! I dislocated mine same and it was loose kingpin trucks...I'll never use double kingpins again...left shoulder ...it was bad ..out for like 2 hours probably...it still comes out sometimes if u lift something wrong and its been like 2 years ...I keep a sling close by because if it comes out I need to slide it back in immediately ..it will hurt for a day or 2 then its OK again ...I think surgery will have to happen if u want it to stay if for a lifetime depending on how bad it is ...wish u all the best and learn keep a sling near by or learn how to slide it back in

    Yeah I dislocated my shoulder on the Hurricane due to speed wobbles. Tightening trucks and checking them IS more important on eboards. I'm used to skating loose on my street boards and made the mistake that I can handle the same on an eboard. Luckily I had a full helmet. That qas back in November of last year. Since then I make sure my trucks are tight for speed runs and only do those when I'm geared up. Death wobbles sneak up on you and no amount of "experience" can save you from a nasty wipeout. Idc how good you are at falling.

      This winter has been hard on me. Couldn't board...blew out the shoulder...had to be away from RUclips (as a developer)...BUT being on the boards today made up for all of that. Probably should not be on the boards yet because of the shoulder, but we all take some chances. FELT GREAT!

    It was those things but more importantly it was your legs not being bend and you didn’t get low enough when going such a high speed. Also a your body facing forward and legs facing sideways is bad for balance at such high speeds.

    I fell off my NLS Pro while I was riding in a new spot. Going 18mph and found a 2 inch deep pot hole right before a bridge. Pulled muscle in my back had me out for a few weeks and some scrapes. No board is gonna go right over a pothole here in NY but I’m upgrading to a hurricane on the bigger pneumatic tires because of all the little cracks my NLS can’t comfortably handle over 10mph. Little stones in bike lanes don’t help when I’m on 100mm PU wheels either. 8mph lol

      @@jondavey007 Tuck and roll would have been a disaster in this situation. This patch of road had a freshly redone shoulder with multiple small rainwater run-off trenches. If I would have tucked and rolled, the shoulder could have caught one and definitely broke the collar bone. I was luck to have gone into a back slide. Minimized the damage. Tuck and roll is not always the best option.

    Yeah, F those DKPT that is 100% the fault of the Hurricane trucks. I had the same issue on the Hurricane. I have never crashed on the Zeus cause the trucks are amazing but I did crash on the Hurricane. The Hurricane is good for Carving and off road I wouldn’t take it over 22mph. The Zeus is the king of the road and you can easily top it out on fresh pavement. Bottom line never go over 20 on unfamiliar terrain especially without pads and gear.

      @esk8ooligan  2 года назад

      Sounds like I may have come out with the better end of the deal. Hope you healed up well! This road is a pretty good road. I just happen to find the one bad spot. There is a set of ground in rumble bars that were approaching that I was watching out for. The majority of my issue was the DKP trucks. I had just been over that same road with the GTS with DKP trucks, but I have them tuned better. We always learn lessons.

    AT Wheels On Roads Like That. I Know You Aren't Fond The Propel EndeavorS But I Ride From One City To Another Through A Remote Country Road At 30 Mph Or 28Mph On Average With Ease. The Coil Over shock Really Is Amazing On Horrible Roads.
