I recently received a CP1 and I love it! I have a few Safaris and I love that Lamy does a left handed nib. My CP1 has a black left handed nib and it looks very sharp. I agree that it feels like a special pen. Great review!

Thanks so much! We just got the LH nib in stock (steel and black) so it will be interesting to see how folks like them. The more I use the CP1 the more I absolutely adore it! Your's sounds great!!

I picked up a CP-1 recently and joins my 2000 and black Aion with the shared design language. As a pen the CP-1 about the same size as the Parker 75 and is perfect as an understated Bauhaus style every day carry.

My favourite. Lamy logo , brushed steel fountain pen.

Wanna get into fountain pens (I know people who swear by them), and this is the first one I’ve come across that I like the look of (pen and writing). Is it a good starter pen?

Whilst the CP1 looks super clean, I can't imagine it being comfortable for writing alot.

Since when lamy includes instructions manual, first time seeing this. Only fake safaries had instructions.

Premium pens have instructions not safaris.

Lamy CP1 is a sleeper among fountain pens. It pretends it is a regular ball pen, while in reality it is a quality fountain pen.
