Welcome back! I thought it would be helpful for credit card newbies to see which ones I have and share why I picked the ones I have! Let me know which ones you have or want in the future!
I got the venture x as my first travel card. The lounge in Dallas was amazing.
Great vids made me laugh 😂 .
I got the chase freedom flex with 5% back on 12k in grocery for the first year cause groceries is my second biggest expense.
oo that is awesome! I think groceries is also my second biggest expense, maybe I should look into that too!
You should get a hotel co-branded card. One of the ones that give you a free night award with no spend requirement. Capital 1 savor one + venture x + hotel Co-branded card best setup for regular person not trying to juggle alot of cards and go too deep down the points rabbit hole

@@MaliniPatel I've been researching cards and setups for 6 months now. The chase and amex trifecta setups are outdated. The savor one and venture x combo matches most of their multipliers. And all you have to do is book ONE trip per year through capital one travel and get global entry/tsa precheck to offset the entire annual fee.
@@blakinsideandout Yes! I was literally thinking the same thing when I first starting looking up venture x a few months ago! It pays for itself!
What's the next card you're eyeing Malina? I just recently started with travel cards. When I was in college I opened several cashback cards with spend $500-1000 in 3 months to get $150-200 back. Saved me a lot of money. Now that I have a decent paying job I'm eyeing the Venture X but need to wait a few more months because I have 19 credit cards at 24. Saved me thousands though.
ahhh I'm also eyeing the venture x! I also need to wait a few months before I can apply for that one. Hopefully we get it!!
