I just got my PM2, and it is nice! I’m still not giving up, carrying my Favorite, which is the Emerson Super Commander! But it sure is nice to have them both! Benchmade is building me nice knife, & I love my Silver Stag, folding knife. We are all so fortunate to have such a quality selection of knives, from so many Great Knife Manufactures. Find something, & enjoy life to its utmost! Happy Holidays!
I like the handle color of the Endura. I love my Tenacious - it has a sweet tactical "Desert Spyder" camo job done to it. I have a few videos of it up. But great video man, I hope to get that Paramilitary at some point - I hear so many good things.
I have a small selection of folding knives including SOG, Kershaw, Ka-Bar, Cold Steel, Spyderco etc, but the one knife that never leaves my side is the Paramilitary 2. I did have the Benchmade 940 Osbourne but could never get the blade centering right so I got rid of it. The Para 2 is all things to all men - highly recommended.
Nice video. I have the Para2 in digital with black blade. It goes where I go every day for the last 2 years. Absolutely love it! Great quality and very durable. Worth every penny!
You are absolutely right imho. Those three are the best choices of Spyderco. Before i was avid fan of Endura ( still love it ) but my first choice now is Para 2.Tenacious is a great budget option.Great video !!!
Love the video. I agree...with the exception of the Byrd Cara Cara 2 over the Endura (basically the same knife, but much better value). You can't beat a Cara Cara 2 for $20. The PM2 is my favorite EDC ever. Great job!
You must be forgeting the fact that it's not the same blade steel. VG10 is already considered a Super Steel, while 8Cr13MoV is... is.... lets just say budget friendly. Also, I know that it's the same guys behind it, but this video is called "Favorite Spyderco Knives" and you are talking about a Byrd knife.
I ordered a OD Green w/ black blade Tenacious from Amazon Friday. It will be here tomorrow and I'm pumped, had the standard Tenacious and loved it till I lost it.
Frankly I couldn't care less about "jimping" but you went over it as if it mattered and out of respect for you then fine. Good video. Especially, I want to thank the creators of this video for the excellent audio. What a welcome surprise!
3 absolutly great knives, i own all of those BUT i totally regret taking the "saber - grind"-Endura just because it was ~30€ cheaper not saying its bad but the blade is so much thicker than the ffg which cuts down the performence by far
Thanks man, I actually just picked up a resilience. I have it for defense since it has a much longer blade, isn't too heavy for what it is, and feels good in my hand. I do plan on getting a secondary knife that isn't so "threatening" lol. A ≥3" blade.
Call me particular but I really want the camo/blade blade version. That the one I'm looking for. I'm on the in stock notification list, there is always eBay but I'd rather not take those chances.
What the heck? EDC? Those knives ALL have blade lengths that are illegal in ALMOST every city in America. Over 3.5" is a big "Illegal weapons possession" charge.........thats jail time. In Seattle its anything over 3". Unless you mean edc'ing around your house or on a camping trip, but carrying those in public is illegal.
tannerg Umm....no! Your Tenacious and Para look fine but your Endura 4 is illegal (over 3.5") per.......www.handgunlaw.us/documents/USKnife2.pdf This is current as of the 1st of the month....gray areas abound & sure you can carry it, but an illegal weapons possession charge is jail time. Make no mistake.
tannerg lol...based on what? You thinking so? I've called and verified and as far as the State of Washington, those lengths are valid, and I'm sure those cities in Oregon are correct as well. That chart I sent is correct with gray areas in about 20 cities. Carry whatever length you want.....its at your own risk.
Please, next time you do a knife review, open the shit out of that knife and close it and repeat. That's mainly all I want to see out of the PM2, is people opening with their middle finger from underneath it. Just that rare looking instant flick with their finger. So yes, open and close it like 100 times while you're talking about it! That isn't done enough in knife videos.
the tenacious is a POS... its a budget knife (read: made in china) and your "rock solid lock up" is not true at all. the endura is an affordable classic as is the para
Liked his descriptions and his cadence! Great job sticking to the subject at hand as so many others get carried away.
Brett Huhn thanks for watching and the comment.

paul greenwood nice collection and yeah the para 2 is great.

I just love Spyderco knives. They are hard to beat. Nice video!!
i didn't use to like them as much as I do now
Living Survival Today I got a Spyderco Paramilitary in the mail. One beautiful knife!! I already love it. Had to make a video right there and then.
Sub'd and going to have some new vids to watch today - Thanks!
Cool!! Thanks man!! Have a great day!!
I ordered a OD Green w/ black blade Tenacious from Amazon Friday. It will be here tomorrow and I'm pumped, had the standard Tenacious and loved it till I lost it.
I love the PM2. Great knife.
+John Wallet Agreed, for sure.
Great review Ben. I picked up a Tenacious 5 days ago and love it. I think that a PM 2 might be in my near future.
I literally have all 3 of those coming in the mail. I've been looking for a video comparing them
Frankly I couldn't care less about "jimping" but you went over it as if it mattered and out of respect for you then fine. Good video. Especially, I want to thank the creators of this video for the excellent audio. What a welcome surprise!
+anonymous it matters on some and not on others for me.
I have the Digi-cam Paramilitary 2 just like yours ...bought the Tenacious for my Son-in-law...both great EDC knives...good review LS...
alex o'neal thx for watching and the comment.
Thank you for great video! What do you think about spyderco manix 2 as an EDC?
+TheSerlik great knife as well.
Cool video. I have the endura and the tenacious. Just need to add the Para military 2 and the military.
You won't be disappointed!
I completely agree with this list
nice, thanks.
I have the tenacious and paramilitary 2 but not the endura. my next buy:) thanks
Im trying to decide between endura 4 and PM2. Delica4 is my EDC but want a larger knife when camping and hiking.
good choices..
thanks for watching and the comment
They make a left handed version of the PM2 now. Thought you might like to know
i didn't know...must have ;)
Heres a link if you want to go there directly: www.bladehq.com/item--Spyderco-Paramilitary-2-Left-Handed--50821
Subbed on this vid. Thanks for this EDC comparison. I love Spydercos!
T Hurl thanks man.
good vid man
thanks brother
Just wondering if you picked up a left handed para2
Nope, only ever had right handed ones. Would love a lefty though.
3 absolutly great knives, i own all of those BUT i totally regret taking the "saber - grind"-Endura just because it was ~30€ cheaper not saying its bad but the blade is so much thicker than the ffg which cuts down the performence by far
+Chickenwings DM the ffg is awesome on spydys.
One day I'll own that Para 2, it's a bit out of my budget now, but one day ;)
+Jalene Mendez great knife to own.
Do you own it now
great video thank you.
Great comparison and contract review. TC - Stan
do you know where i can find cheaper spyderco knives
Aleksandar Zivkovic
Walmart carries the tenacious and the resilience. $40-$50.
I just bought the Delica 4, and the black paint on the clip is already coming off! Is anyone else experiencing this?
yes, after a while you will embrase it...its like personal touch to the knife lol
Be still my aching wallet . . . :)
EcchiSpud LMAO! I know right.
Tenacious only 40 bucks
Delica is cool man
Thanks for the good video.
Where did you buy that camo para-military 2?
Sharpblade Amazon.
looks like your pm2 got few chips on blade
I'm new to knives
I could get one solid knife like the paramilitary or two good ones, the endura being one.
If you can afford those knives I'd also consider the Spyderco sage 5 or the Benchmade Osborne
Thanks man, I actually just picked up a resilience. I have it for defense since it has a much longer blade, isn't too heavy for what it is, and feels good in my hand. I do plan on getting a secondary knife that isn't so "threatening" lol. A ≥3" blade.
Well then your best bet would be a opinel NOBODY would be threatened by that
+Paul win ha, not very cool looking
but hey, if it's practical then its a possibility
Well probably the most effective slicers in the world those opinels are
great informative video, thanks for sharing
thanks for watching
Thanks for that great review 👌
Wish I could buy the para 2 somehow
great knife
Hopefully they start coming back in stock
They are in stock everywhere brother. amzn.to/1llqcCP
Call me particular but I really want the camo/blade blade version. That the one I'm looking for. I'm on the in stock notification list, there is always eBay but I'd rather not take those chances.
This one? amzn.to/1i57ZkK
good video..I actually have 2 out of 3 of those knives..lol
+Chad Morgan nice chad, thanks for watching.
yall notice is says made on earth for para 2 lmfao
You accidentally put Delica in the title instead of Endura.
Phibes Lives thanks for the correction. Fixed.
Paramilitary 2.......paramilitary 2.....
Sid Organ yep yep
China? Phewy!

I can edc any of these knives in Oregon on any day of the week. so yes EDC
tannerg Umm....no! wrong there is no restriction on length try again

+Joe Blow based on the county I live in has zero restrictions on blade length

they seem to be hit or miss.
