Permaculture is the practice of creating self-sustaining systems of life which can produce yields we can safely harvest and not destroy the world around us.
Shel should do voice acting 💞 or audiobooks… it's so good btw. The umbrella does protect you from the sun, but the salt flats have some extra drying effect
Impressive water trench run. You can hit F to move your plants ( unless it's a tree that requires a T3 trinket ) to move it all along "wet" terrain so you don't have to water it manually. Instead of running water I just have a pond of water surrounded by a completely filled space full of absolutely everything under the sun lol. It truly does look beautiful to see a dense oasis in a desert knowing you hand crafted all of it.
The extent to which Wander just doesn't seem to notice Shel talking when he is focused on watering or seed digging is honestly pretty amusing. At least three times that I noticed, something she said just totally didn't register 😂
I've been waiting for this game for awhile, was so excited when I saw it on my home page. My wife and I have been looking for a new casual game to play together to replace minecraft, Ark Survival Evolved, Valheim, and a few others. She purchased Witch of Fern island which is great but doesn't have co-op or any multiplayer. We've been hoping this or SolarPunk would fill our casual survial sandbox with cute animals to tame niche.
This game looks really pretty, and the soundtrack is wonderful! I think you both forgot the quest that taught you to climb cliffs? Would have maybe made exploring a little easier? 😊
This is a game ive been watching for a while, its made by the same dev as guns of icarus And it looks great, kinda like if terranil was a survival game, i like it
It would make more sense to explore in different directions to cover more ground also after you unlock waterseeeker you should each develop around different springs to save time also don't chop down oak trees
I would think that an even spiral that waters both sides heavily the entire way out would be one of the most efficient ways to trench? Likely a thin strip of sand between rows just to make sure that have it in case of drier habitat plants
the spiral would be best on perfectly flat land but with hills things get a lot more complicated. its too bad the starting spring is at the bottom of a depression. if it were at the top of a slope you could have the water follow the contour of the hill then drop a level zigzaging down.
@@EvelynNdenial yeah, seems like terraforming your land would not be a bad initial project, smoothing out one ring’s worth of “top land”, then dropping the stuff around it… or going a ring further out depending on how the area looks. Plus, with a concentric line you can always tell how the water level is by how stuff at the end is getting water. But yeah, the starting at a low spot is Not an ideal thing…
Love this game just the only gripe I have is water production can get a bit out of hand…no that’s a lie it can get ALOT out of hand! I upgraded water production to 5 and I regret it beyond belief, figured I would try and make canals and see if that would help…NOPE instructions unclear and flooded the desert…and river gods place added to the flood as well…then again I might just suck at water management xD

💜 rad. Thank you for sharing.
and not just self-sustaining but with higher yield per acre more resistant and supportive to the local ecosystem.

Would love to watch you two continue this! Relaxing Monday morning background - I’m in
Oh I love it when she speaks for the npc. So talented

Yup. If I'm focused on something all noise just kinda fades away.
Would love to see more of this

Wander, to climb walk up to a flat surface and hold shift.

Would love to see more of this game from you two!
You can actually climb just about any surface in this game. You just need to walk up to a cliff face and press Shift.
I want more of this
I love watching both of you play. When are you going to post another episode? I can't wait for the next one!
This game is really neat! I got it myself thanks.

thanks for putting this on my radar
i played the demo and played it for days trying the mechanics out but the map was static. looking forward to to playing random maps
Will you play more of this game together? I miss your early days long co-op play through.
Yes, Yes let the leaf hate flow.

After Playing through deserts of kharak I am itching for desert games
i wish that game had more in it
@@markleehouston Yeah 12 missions is short really short. but skirmish is still an option!
It would be better if we could see the second player's screen like Evan and Katelyn do.
Have you guys played this any more since? I'm obsessed with this game right now.

@@EvelynNdenial i wonder if you could build up the soil under the source and have it rain down from higher up?
i mean during a video is the time to talk about random irl stuff you want to share or vent to foster a connection with the fanbase lol
more?

Why does this run like shit on my 3060?
Okay game except for the fact the company does data collection with a restrictive EULA and no way to opt-out
That Eula was meant for their mobile games according to the devs forum posts. I think they'll be changing it.
