For the lazy people who dont want to bar the F-Shape: i use my thumb for the low E string and keep the high e string open (or dont play it if it does not fit the chord)
Great video and all, only one problem on my side, and that is, some of these chords are kinda impossible to play in DROP B... yeaaaah is it normal to have 11-56 gage strings on a acoustic which is in drop B?
Tefo Ketshajwang depends what tone you want, I have an Ibanez silver cadet Z, and it has a nice dark tone which I want! Ps probably no point writing this as you probably already have found something lol

I will also say.. Tuning the high e string up to F# allows for more open chords up and down the neck. Try it out!
Haven't tried that tuning yet...

If you use the standard D Major triad shape we all know and move it up two steps that makes another easy voicing for F# Major. What do you think?
