Marvel only actually released 5 TV Spots. It'll be the same for this, and those other channels will upload about 40. I think we should just ignore them.

Zynora Lowery Most people think it's dumb. A man who can shrink and talk to ants? But, because it's Marvel (who surprised us with Guardians of the Galaxy), we can also assume that, while the superheroes might be silly, the people working on the film put great effort into the casting, script, and effects. The movie will most likely be better than what everyone thinks it is.
Ok, now I understand. I just didn't know if you meant that comment in a negative or positive light. As for me however, I'll be sure to see it the day it comes out! What I really love, is how Marvel handles their characters in general. They always know that something huge is at stake, but it doesn't take them away from being a relatable character. I feel that the kind of "down to earth-ness" of each character really sells in the box office. They're not dark and gloomy, but they're not totally blowing it off. And that's what I love about the MCU.
Zynora Lowery Well said. Though the DC comics characters are interesting, they're not the "every man". Some are aliens, princesses from secret lands, or protectors of worlds. Hard to relate to. But the MCU gives us underdog after underdog, each with a different story and background.... much like us :) And yes, the Marvel films really do their best to give depth to the characters they create, while also providing lighthearted and humorous moments with them as well.
Right! I love the snarky comments Spider-Man has when beating the bad guy! Or how Tony Stark really thinks that the things he creates are cool! I think it would be kind of hard to get used to being able to fly! They really speak the audience into existence every time they make a sarcastic remark, or are in awe of what's really going on around them. (Hawkeye's speech in AoU) It makes them feel like us. (Like War Machine's whole situation with his story: when telling it to the "Everyman" he always gets a laugh; but when telling it to the ones who literally fight robot aliens and gods, it's more like "meh", going out to make WM even more relatable)
Another Marvel blockbuster. They just keep coming.

Troy Wullbrandt Knowing how well of writers and directors both Joss Whedon and Edgar Wright are, I imagine it was awesome! Like, better than GOTG. I really wish he could've stayed on board, but seeing these new clips, this movie still looks absolutely fantastic! Plus, I'm just happy we FINALLY get to see Ant-Man come to the MCU, which I personally think should have been done early in Phase 1. But that's just me.

Troy Wullbrandt I heard from someone that the movie they wound up making is still very similar to the Edgar Wright script, the problem was that he wanted to make a movie that wouldn't fit in the MCU. So they made it fit.
Edgar wright is getting a producing credit and him along with joe Cornish still get a writing credit it is still very much his script.
Evangeline Lilly said that both scripts are fantastic (Edgar Wrights and the current one) but the difference is that Edgar Wrights was more like the 60s comics and that while fantastic it would've stuck out like a sore thumb in the MCU, so Marvel probably tried to get Edgar to get it to fit and he probably refused so Marvel probably just wanted Peyton Reed, Adam McKay and Paul Rudd to make it fit better
Ok, I admit it. I thought that Ant-Man was going to be a pile of shit because, well, it's Ant-Man. BUT Seeing more trailers for it, it looks like a great fun film and I should have never doubted Marvel.
The Batman we have confirmation from batman, the latest hero of DC that in fact, Marvel's Antman is a good movie. Start crying DC fanboys.

Dillon Layton I personally like Marvel and DC (but I'm not going to do all into it) but I knew from it's announcement this was going to be awesome. It's probable going to do well in the Box Office too. If a Tree and a Racoon can be one of the most successful MCU movies I see no reason a man who can shrink and talk to ant's can't.

Marvel has something DC, Star Wars, Star treck, or any other franchise doesnt have,.. its that EVERYTHING is cannon.. it just takes part in a different universe of reality. what you call "Cannon" is actually called Earth616. Character's from other realities are slightly different than the ones in earth616 BUT what proves that everything is cannon is the fact that it is possible from Characters from different Universes are actually ABLE to travel to other universe realities as well as Earth616 if they can. Examples are the Spiderverse, Deadpool kills the marvel universe series and Cable. Face it. for marvel, Everything is Cannon.

Ant-Man will be the first Marvel movie since Captain America The First Avenger to Introduce a New character in their respective solo movie. Before you say "what about Scarlet Witch Quicksilver, and Vision", I will say this is the first SOLO movie, Scarlet witch, Quicksilver and Vision were all in a group movie.

You know, I'm going to be honest. When I saw the first trailer for this movie, I was worried (I mean who cares about Antman right?). I thought that this would be a completely rushed movie just to bring Antman into the Marvel universe. But now that I come to look at TV spots and trailers like this for the film, it gives a smile on my face knowing that the film doesn't take itself seriously. I think guardians of the galaxy did this gloriously, and I cannot wait to see how they do it in this!
When I heard about this movie, I was like "eh, okay" when I saw the first trailer I was like "doesn't look bad, maybe I'll rent it on red box." Now, seeing the secound trailer and this, I'm like "I'm going to go see this!"
