i have a question, can you learn to play drums just by knowing what pieces do what as opposed to learning drumtabs? ive been learning wihtout tabs just by figuring out how it sounds
This is literally what I'm doing every single time - I learn by ear. So yes, not only that you can, but you should use your ears instead of reading tabs :)
