"They hung that guy from a helicopter!"
Fun Fact: They really did hang a guy from a helicopter for that shot. Rather than use a dummy, they actually dangled stunt performer Dick Ziker from the helicopter. The '80s, man...they were WILD.
Also, it's hard to feel sorry for Tony, but I always admired the way he went out. I'm a firm believer in "If you're gonna go down, go down in FLAMES!"

@@TheSpartan227 she's, no doubt, dead. for those going through the comments, I've got good news. God is good because He gives His blessings to everyone, whether they be good or bad. but everyone has at least, told a lie, or stolen something in their life. and that makes them sinners, and God will not allow sinners in heaven; in His presence, because He is holy. so, God has to punish the sinners in hell, because God is severe and just. but God is also love and He made a way for some to be saved from His wrath. here are the steps:
      1. admit that you're a sinner and are lost.
      2. realize that the penalty of sin is death (hell).
      3. believe that Jesus (who is God) died on the cross, was buried, then rose from the grave, to pay the penalty for man's past, present, and future sins.
      4. trust Christ alone as your Savior, and not on your own good deeds to get you to heaven (nor a combination of your faith and self-righteous works).
      5. pray to God NOW that you're accepting Christ's free gift of salvation because if you die before making this decision, it's too late, and you'll 🔥🥵😈
      6. and to be a disciple, tell people about Jesus, read the bible, go to church regularly to know God's will for your life.

I come from a Cuban American family and grew up in Miami. My aunt was living in Miami beach when they were filming that scene where Tony shoots the guy on the street in the bloody shirt. She met Al Pacino and got a signed poster of the movie from him. It's a family heirloom. Most of the outdoor locations filmed in the movie were filmed in Miami and many of those places are still recognizable today. They did a good job at depicting the party life here, the drugs, the culture. It's still the same today.

Something I've always noticed about Tony whenever I watch this movie, is that he left Cuba to get away from Castro and to get away from being bossed around all the time. However, when Tony became the boss of a vast drug empire with people under him, he eventually became a Castro himself, so to speak.

    • @jacquelinecallejas1390

I always thought he was lying about being a REAL political refugee. He was probably a criminal back then too or his momma wouldn't have instantly known he was a criminal and KILLED someone when he went to visit her. This movie was set during the "Marialito" thing where Castro took advantage of the fact that Cuban Americans wanted to help their anti-Castro relatives join them in the US. Instead of letting real political activists out he really did empty his psych wards and jails. I 100 % believe Tony didn't care what the politics were. It was probably just easier to get away with being a big time drug dealer in the U.S. than in Cuba, so he left. His motivation isn't freedom, it is greed.

    • @TransBeth

@@jacquelinecallejas1390 I never thought of it like that. I mean, I always knew that Tony had a criminal past because of the prison time and the tattoo and his mom's suspicions about the money, but I never thought of his reasons for coming to the US in that way. It does make sense though, considering Castro released almost nothing but criminals, and also because Tony gave no shits as long as he got rich.

Many alike my dad to scarface,to revolutionary leaders in our country ,to many, many things but haven't I see one person alike Tony Montana having a child like purity.
The way it is with my dad ,with it is i reckon for tony, their hearts are as big as the sun, what they believe in their mind and nothing but God can stop them ,when they love someone ,they love totally,my father changed his life from me.
Men like them only get humbled by God
If tony lived,he would most certainly be a little humbled, little mature
      God would make him so

And it's just like the look tony has,it starts from the will to win
If tony lived ,let me tell you

Great movie! But yall skipped the "take it to the limit" montage, which is the best scene for me

When I tell my dad about your reactions (he's old school and not into the internet), I refer to you as "you know, dad... my little Brits. The ones that watched Borat, remember?" hahaha. He always says, "Yeah, the couple with the cute redhead?"
    hahahaha.
Love you guys. Been watching you for a few years now and you're like family members that just hang out in the background (that I've never met).

25:36 - Ash you're right but you're slightly off! Tony eating the lemon demonstrates that he's from a very poor background and doesn't understand that it's to clean your hands with!
Honestly man, when I first started watching you guys I didn't like either of you but YOU BOTH GREW ON ME!!! Now I'm a VIVID Just-Trust-Ash and a Don't-Trust-Hannah subscriber and I PINE for the next reaction EVERY WEEK!!!!
You two are made for each other and you're ABSOLUTE COMEDY GOLD!!!! 😅😂❤❤❤
You're reaction to the Jackass franchise sticks out in my mind because of how you both nearly threw up!!! 😅😂😂😂
And you both reacted to my most favourite horror film of all time when 99% of reactors won't/don't...JEEPERS CREEPERS!!!
Absolutely love you both! You bring joy and laughs to so many people and I wish you all the best!
And btw...you guys HAVE TO REACT TO THE PENGUIN SERIES NEXT!!! 🔥🔥🔥 Watching the 2022 Batman only helps a bit but you can watch the Penguin still if you haven't watched the film! Goodnight and Godbless! ❤❤❤

Idk if it’s just a coincidence but Ash’s shirt is perfect to wear for this reaction lol

"Hey man, you got a job!" is my all time favorite movie line. Bruno Mars been killing it since the early 80s. 😂

"This is giving me GTA: Vice City vibes."
That'll be because Vice City was an homage to Scarface.
    😅
