Oxepedalummmm! Lol Hi Pam, thank you for showing the good, the bad and the beautiful! You are a true plant parent, lol. I also had those spots for a very, very long time in the jungle boogie, finally I put it in a smaller pot with lots of bark and perlite added to soil, and only water it like every two weeks and no more new spots, it is doing well. Oh for the Brasil, I think that is a problem with them, I love the colors on it so much but have had to cut back and cut back the same as you. Beautiful plants!!!!
Hi Joann. Thanks for sharing. As for the philodendron Jungle boogie, I do plan on doing a video talking about those spot … stay tune. The Brasíl; hurt my heart to chop it back but it’s all part of the parenting process. I’m glad you enjoyed seeing part of my collection .
All of your plants are outstanding! Anytime we can surround ourselves with beautiful plants and enjoy the peace and tranquility, it’s our little piece of heaven.
Hi Lisa! It’s so good to hear from you. You have been on my mind. I thought to myself…. I don’t think I’ve heard from her in a while. I know life can get in the way girl, but anyway you know how much I love my Croton putting her outside this past growing season really did the trick. Thanks for watching to the end and joining me through the tour. Happy planting🌿🌱🌳
Hi Tammy. Thanks for watching. It took me some time to figure out the care for these begonias. As you can see I don’t have a lot in my collection because I’m learning how to have the ones I have in my collection thrive.
Thank you so much for stopping by and touring the room. I’m at this addictive phase of buying Hoyas😂. I don’t know if and when I’ll get off the Hoya bus. Can you blame me.
Hi Dee! Thanks for watching to the end. I really think using the orchid spray on my Hoyas does the trick. It’s crazy because I get the most blooms during the fall and winter time.
Oxypetalum😂! Thanks for sharing your plants and grow space! With the Hoya nummularioides, my experience with that one is it seems to be one of those Hoyas that like a little more water. Australis and the Lacunosas are the same for me. Just thought I'd mention that, even though our growing conditions are pretty different- I'm in hot dry Texas. Anyway, loved seeing what's going on in your plant life💚!
Hi Diane… First thanks for touring the room with me. Also I appreciate the tips because even though we may be in different environments….. these plants like what they like. It makes sense now. I know for me my lacunosas definitely need more water. I may have to take it out of that terra cotta pot. The specimen is small and I have to realize I can’t grow them all.
I didn't get to finish watching this until late this evening...had company. I really enjoyed the tour. I have a question for you. How long have you had your Hoya Callistophylla? I have one (one of my faves because I love those leaves). But mine is a bit small through an Etsy lady. It came fully rooted with 6 fairly large leaves and 5 smaller, newer leaves. It usually sits next to my globulosa which is beautiful and I give them about the same treatment. I've only had both of them since the beginning of November. Last week, my callistophylla, dropped two of the smaller leaves (no yellowing/no pests). Now, my globulosa had lost one leaf the week after I received it and I chalked it up to getting acclimated to my room. But I started getting concerned about the callistophylla. It looks small to me, especially compared to your BEAUTY. That is why I ask how long you've had/and grown yours? I'm hoping this next spring, it will perk up and start producing (sadly, I don't see any growth points 😔), and I'm a little nervous. I've done a preventative treatment for pest (though I saw none). I'm hoping I don't lose one of my very favorites.
Thanks for watching to the end when you could. I appreciate the support. Now the Callistophylla I’ve had for over a year now. I haven’t had any issues with mines. It took some time for it to show growth. When I put it outside it must have activated the plant because it started to give me growth but it still is not the fastest out of my Hoyas. We want to keep in mind that our plants have to start off healthy if we are to have a fighting chance to have them thrive. I also purchase mines from the plant farm and it was in great condition when I received it. Anyway I hope both of your plants recover.
@@fulloffoliage8032 After receiving this small callistophylla from Etsy, I did check out Plant Farm... and if this one does not look better by mid-spring, I'm definitely going to go to Plant Farm...I will do it through your link, if that helps support you any further. 🙂
Oxymoron twice. Haha. I don’t know what the name is you said. I had to watch twice cause I kept drifting off during the middle. I’m having a problem with scale on my Hoya. I have treated many times but those buggers just don’t want to leave. I use systemic granules and used to spray with alcohol weekly during watering besides pest sprays. I just did two sprays of sulfur and that actually helped several to start growing so I’m pretty sure I had flat mites too. I have had all pest issues except mealy bugs (white scale)?
😂….. Thanks for watching to the end as well as sharing all types of things you can use to ward away pest. This will help many of us in the plant community.
Thanks for watching. I actually came across them on Amazon. They are called Haispring Plastic Moss Pole. I like them a lot. It’s pretty sturdy and you don’t use a lot of moss like you do with the round ones. My PPP seems to like it…. so yeah.
Hi Carolyn. First off… Thanks for making it to the end. Maintaining the leaf in there can be challenging from time to time but I try to keep it around the 65-72 range. Tropical enough for the plants and perfect for me.
Oxepedalummmm! Lol

Snake plant getting too much light. That’s why the leaves curl.
