I'd like to add some (most?) skratches are somewhat dependent on building up new muscle memory (scribbles and crabs for me), and took me several practice sessions before I was able to perform them correctly at all (especially crabs). I benefit from practicing crabs on any surface I can tap my fingers on when I'm without a fader.
Yeah I have been doing all those things. 4 months on still recording my sessions. Never sounds as good as when I'm doing it😮. I'm trying to learn to much I think. Need to focus on one skratch at a time. Just gets a bit boring though. But still loving it. Progress is slowing down now. I only get 20 mins a day to pratice ad I have three kids now under 5 years.

Agree! We'll probably focus on that aspect during a later episode.
I appreciate this video and this comment 🙏🏽

Still waiting on a hand placement/movement guide for beginners. Open fader scratches have been giving me some trouble for some reason.
We made that vid, it's up now =)
Are you planning Mike on doing online tutorials ? Or can i we send you vids of us performing techniques and can you give us feedback?
Robert! Any interest in sending a vid of your best routine, and then I'll share my thoughts and make a Skratch Snobs episode about it? - Mike C
