Although this song is classic seventeen you never actually know what kind of song a comeback will be because they love to try different things, the killing voice compilation of songs makes sense but it doesn't really demonstrate the width of their discography. But generally they always spread positive messages and are energetic with their titles with some exceptions. If you look at their entire discography than you can really see how many different genres they've experimented with, but they always somehow retain a feeling of oh this is a seventeen song, but it's hard to describe. God of music definitely felt like their most large scale mv by far, maybe excluding the one that came before, super + fml (double title). Like I can't immediately think of any other mv's that have even featured more than one person aside from the members. This in comparison to their debut mv is insane. I would say that most of their mvs don't really have that much CGI (i'm not like a CGI hater or anything btw), and not really in the way this had, it's mostly been environments or effects. Also i would like to add that the first thing that people associate with svt is actually synchronized choreo and them being the theater kids of kpop

Also fun fact: the leader scoups (pink hair) recently had ACL surgery during the filming of this in Budapest so he wasn’t able to be there but they included him in the mv even in a hospital setting😂 also the mic they sent up to space irl!!! Their messages in their music makes people CRY just by reading them, makes you feel joy and uplifted even if you have depression or low self esteem. This album already surpassed 2.4 million album sales in the first day in just 2 hours (surpassing 5-star by SKZ and PROOF by BTS), seventeen is THAT BIG right now. And this song is already top 10 on the korean charts first couple of hours since it released an hour ago. They are probably the biggest boygroup right now (since BTS is on hiatus and on military service..)
SEVENTEEN was always among the BIG 3 idol groups called (EBS - EXO, BTS and SEVENTEEN), is a term that have been used for almost 6 years. Thank you very much... Yes the music is great, and their vocals are really good. Even though I usually only listen to girl groups these guys are interesting. But after two months I am still sometimes mixing up the Stray Kids members and I just got into Exo, Seventeen, Ateez and NCT 127.... I doubt I will try to learn them. Whatever stays in my mind stays there but I don't think I will actually sit and try to learn all these names now. I've got used to Stray Kids but the new ones now.... omg. I can memorize girls names much quicker because there is a visual connection there too and when I like to see someone it sticks faster. Its the same in my real life... When at a party or so I can remember all girls names the next morning ... not many of the guys names...

By the aay, perhaps someone has already explained, but i learned that the line KUNGCHI PAKCHI is like a (Korean) onomatopeia of when you hit something as in like percussions. Like you said, that alone made it easier for listeners to sing along, making it more fun! When they do live perfomances of it, they let the audience sing along that part... being true to making music together! 😊

Nothing makes me happier than seeing people enjoy seventeen and their music. To me they are the only kpop boy group that I love and hold dear, not only are they amazing musitians they are also amazing humans which is the biggest bonus a musician could get. Looking forward to more of your reactions, and if nobody told you they do write their own music, the guy that was with an ant is the producer and songwriter of the group and his name is woozi, he also plays guitar, piano, clarinet and drums. And the guy that was with the donkey is Hoshi their main choreographer in the group (they do have a choreographer outside of the group, but this member usually works with him), rappers do write their own lines and sometimes they produce too. There are also a few other members that write lyrics or give ideas or even make their own choreo

hey again, it's me, long commenter mcgee! i'm so so happy you liked this song, isn't it so cute and lovely 🥺🥺 this new album of theirs has broken records already as the most pre-ordered album by a korean act in history (5.2M pre-orders)! it's rocketing up first day sales right now and might beat the record which is currently held by seventeen's last album "FML"! they're competing against themselves 😭 fun lil fact, carats tend to coin this kind of sound "freshteen"; it's a term we use when svt release a title song that is funky and light and summery and vibrant (instead of darker, more melancholy, more serious, etc) like their earlier title tracks, which you got a peek of during their killing voice! the tone of this album is worlds different from their last one and no two albums ever sound the same while somehow still being obviously seventeen, which i think is super incredible and must take loads of skill p.s. someone further down recommended a guide reaction - our fandom has a "super long guide to seventeen" by caratline but when we say long we mean like...over 2 hours long LMAO. we love seeing reactions to the guide but don't worry about it if you're not into that!
