fun fact: the microphone in space, was actually, legitimately taken to space for the music video
FYI, the group's leader S.Coups is currently in rehab for a severe injury to his knee (bone) that required major surgery and will take him months and months to heal. As a result he was unable to go with them to Budapest to film the video; so tongue in cheek they filmed his parts with him in a hospital wearing a bone outfit, yet still dancing along! That's why we see him on the phone as well as in the hospital. :)
Aw that's terrible. I really hope he has a healthy/speedy recovery. That's also a cute touch that they found a way to add him still, I love that.

the guy with the pink hair partying on the phone (scoups the leader) tore his ACL so he couldn’t film the MV with them.
Another tidbit, the member singing with the ant, playing the keyboard, and turning around smiling at the end is Woozi. He writes ALL of their music, and usually produces it. This was the first time they had someone else produce the song. Still...if there's a God of Music, it's Woozi!! He has hundreds of copyrights and was voted the youngest Producer/Songwriter of the Year by the Asian Awards a couple of years ago. He's EXTRAORDINARILY talented! He's head of the Vocal sub-unit and is known as the VoBo (Voice Boss)! He may be the shortest (5'5") member of the group, but his music is GIANT!!

wait 'this was the first time they had someone else produce the song' eehhhh??? GOM is produced with the same usual people, woozi, bumzu and kitae and plus mingyu, scoups and vernon ...
@@sebongkaiaxiiiSeventeen had a countdown show prior to GOM MV being released. Though Woozi wrote the song, WOOZI HIMSELF said this was the first time someone else PRODUCED it. Writing a song and producing a song are two totally different things. Woozi wrote it along with Bumzu, etc.; but another producer mixed the tracks.

SEVENTEEN "Not Alone" mv is one of my favorites! the amount of seamless transitions and visuals are crazyyy.
its a Japanese song of theirs and it was filmed during COVID time.
all of seventeen's music is so good but some good mvs to start with (imo) are definitely Fear, Snap Shoot (one of the members of the group, mingyu, made the music video for it), Left and Right, Rock with You, and Hot!

I would love to see a reaction to the full album. My favorites are Diamond Days (older Carats will especially appreciate the end of the song), Back 2 Back, and Monster! The whole album is really good. Seventeen never miss.
The smile jumping in the outfit/scenery change scene is also because he's singing that part. So his mouth would have been moving frame by frame anyways. Clever way to hide any discrepancies. Though personally, as a photographer and compositor, I think his face and neck are one shot and they are just changing his clothes. Easier to hide and what I would have done.

Yeah this was so fun to watch, they really went all out with the effects for this MV. Including sending a mic to space. Like. who??? The song is soooooo full of joy and fun and they infused the choreo and video with the same.

I'm a kpop stan and I've only seen voice teachers/musicians/producers react to kpop music videos. This is a first on my youtube algorithm. Thank you for breaking down the details. Some of the transitions look simple to me as someone without technical knowledge but wow it really does take effort to make everything seamless and smooth. Watching this made me appreciate the video editors more.

The member in the scenes in the hospital and on the phone at the end was unable to go to Budapest for filming. He is recovering from knee surgery. So they were very creative to let him be part of MV. ❤️🩹

The changing outfit with dk on the first verse were ai generative fill outfits, it was revealed by the director themselves

You should watch Snap Shoot by SEVENTEEN, the MV produced by their own member, Mingyu, as the Director, Producer, Editor, and else. It shows how talented SEVENTEEN are, not only singer and dancer. And, the credits of video was on the ending, you could see how Mingyu was so exhausted for the car scene, lol
