@@DevineFN Yeah I agree, the 4000 series was strange because it was really more of a frame gen software release than a tangible hardware release aside from the 4090. I'm not saying I wouldn't take a 4080 Super at 700-800 dollars second hand, but I also at the same time wouldn't go out of my way to obtain it. The scalping issue is what is really making this ten times worse. Hopefully those people decide to chill soon and realize that stuff is poison for the soul. I'd honestly say unless you're doing some workstation/game design projects, I'd avoid the 90 series too. It's just too much for what you're getting. It's geared for that halfway to a professional card for people who aren't prepared for that level of investment. Idk, people will have to play it by ear because there are far too many factors at play. Availability > Pricing > Funding > P2P > bottlenecking. The problem people are going to rapidly fall into is how demanding high fps in particular games are on the CPU. You'll need a top of the line PC to utilize a lot of this new software coming with these cards. Without it, you'll feel like you're on a 3000 series. 7800X3D or better with 7200-8000MHz dram. Yea idk nvidia is genuinely bs. Their cards don’t make much sense at all. The 20 series was interesting, the 3090 ti was the only 30 series card to have power for a newer gpu and then the 4090 has crazy power consumption but it’s price is crazy. The 40 series makes almost no sense at all. The way I see it they don’t need to drop every year with a new series. They have the tech and ability, I think they should just be real and stop looking for 100% profit and start making seriously powerful gpus. It’s only this time amd wasn’t able to beat their 4090
@@DevineFN Yeah I agree, the 4000 series was strange because it was really more of a frame gen software release than a tangible hardware release aside from the 4090. I'm not saying I wouldn't take a 4080 Super at 700-800 dollars second hand, but I also at the same time wouldn't go out of my way to obtain it. I'd say at this point, you're better off just going the 70 route and reselling at half MSRP or a little above and upgrading every cycle if you can get a card at MSRP. Its not going to be pretty. Make sure you get B-die samsung nodes in your ram if you run AMD or there's another issue already. Its wild. I wouldn't want to be some random person trying to build a PC anytime soon haha.
@ lmao yea for sure. It’s just crazy to me the 3090 is still over 1k when the rx6900 is a way better option compared to the 3090 ti itself running the same frames drawing the same power but it’s only con is it runs hotter than the 3090. Idk tbh gpus are going crazy
@@DevineFN Silicon is at its limits. They're doing everything they can to push having to admit that off. That's why you'll see more and more software and less hardware as it continues. It will continue being more and more fake too haha.
