Those Oops matches were rough. It made me consider if instead of sideboarding into Chain + Witch combo, it should be Leyline + Helm (plus you're already playing Voidwalkers). Swings and roundabouts, I expect.
Wild guess but in the last game on round one, the opponent hadn't seen a ton of removal outside of walkers. Maybe they gambled a bit and went "I just discard a walker with grief and if void lives a turn I can snowball that walker to victory". I think that may be why they chose to keep
@@foxokon94 still wins faster and less vulnerable to removal than all the other plays available. Plus you could run the other 3cmc vampire for more consistency. Just an idea
Rather than imagining swapping out a *specific* swamp for dust bowl, you can just count the number of times you think "I want to draw specifically a swamp" versus "I want to draw dust bowl" - the ratio of those counts should be about the same as the ratio of those cards in your deck.
I strongly believe wotc should change mtg rules to change mdfc lands to be considered both land and nonlands while not in play. Oops is not a healthy deck, its a turn 1 combo which generally is good for noone, and there is legit zero reason for sthclike this to be playable.
Thanks for giving this deck a spin! It was fun to watch. The back to back Oops matches were rough. My FNM meta doesn't see Oops, so I've never had to face that deck. I imagine if there was more turn 1 combo like that a Leyline sideboard with Surgicals would mos def be the way to go. I run Extirpates because I face a lot of Miracles-type decks and UB Scaminator. Thanks again!
Opponent probably - "drawing 4 cards is always good"

That sounds like a much more solid plan.
It actually goes BBBrrr
I can't really explain why, but today's intro really sent me. Just clipped me at the right angle, had to pause the video to laugh
That gleeful "Weeeeeee!" when you hold up Bowmasters and your opponent plays a Brainstorm.
"Oops all spells" might get more popular with all the spell land MDFCs coming in MH3.
Thumbs up. Dark ritual does indeed go BRRR
Obligatory algorithmic contribution
main deck chains, LEZDUIT
Havent watched the video yet but assuming the Castle Locthwain caused a mulligan or was hit with wasteland and never activated.
Ah, oops all spells. My old nemesis.
More like oops my opponent isnt playing blue, so they lose.
@@MackNJacishopper i mean, if he held up the gy hate on game 2 round 3 he would have won
Thanks for playing with Extirpate. It's always been one of my favorite pieces of MTG art.
Rounds 3 and 4 were wild.
What do you mean? I only saw 3 matches.
I would love to see the second place Mono-Black Helm deck from Buffalo Chicken Dip Legacy 14!!
As soon as i saw the thumbnail, i thought of when they played these decks on the 90s MTG channel!
Judge! Phil's goin "brrrr" again
Why not a one of Urborg? Bypasses the issue with running multiple and can help with your wastelands not being a swamp some games.

Bryant would tell you epic storm is the high class way of using dark ritual
thumbs up before even watching for making me laugh in the intro.
Just want to say. Surgical is technically I think a better card but I always choose extirpate just because I love the art.
Where's Urborg? No downside + wastelands tap for b for hymn etc...
at 35:00 isn't null rod stopping the spy from activating? what am I missing here?
sorry I mean the undercity informer not spy
The untapped green land and the fact that spy isn't an artifact.
@@ThrabenUniversity oh I'm a fool thanks :) reading the cards eh?
nice!
could've maybe considered the Sorin + Vein Ripper combo if you're already going for strong T1 DRit plays
I feel that putting a 3 card combo in your deck is bad in general, especially when it doesn’t win the game.
He did a video with that a few weeks ago, deck was not good.

Oops all oops all spells 😢
Oops all "Oops all spells" hmmmm
Incorrect, dark ritual goes BBB
BRRRRR

Surprise...yet another deck with Bowmasters...🙄
Surprise.. yet an other timmy complainig
