    • @OdileMonodTheMonodist
      @OdileMonodTheMonodist  Год назад +2

      The cushion in this video is a tinted sunscreen (it's basically the cushion version of the tone-up sunscreen in this video) so it's not meant to offer any coverage really, whereas the Hera one is a proper cushion foundation 😁

      Thank you 🙏 To be honest I considered briefly mentioning the makeup products from the Cheongidan line in this video because they all have a similar finish to the Cheongidan sunscreen 😅
      I don't talk much about makeup on the channel because in the past the few videos I made on the topic didn't do well so I was under the impression that my audience was not interested in Korean makeup (plus, I guess it doesn't help that I myself use many foreign makeup brands...). However I've been getting more and more requests lately so I'll seriously consider it.

    I now know what SPF to take.

    I am also planning to purchase some products from the history of Whoo. Can you recommend your favourites for anti-aging firming and pigmentation.
    I am considering a bichup essence for pm but if you could suggest any other products would be very much appreciated.
    Many thanks indeed for amazing video.

    • @monicali8569

      Bichup isn’t only for night use. I would only recommend bichup for you as supplemental essences /serum. I love the first activated essence and the one you mentioned (ja saeng). For the rest of your routine I would go with the jinyulhyang (red) , cheongyuldan (gold) , or hwanyu (eggplant) lines. Other lines imo won’t do much other than hydration for you skin age.

      There won’t be any high end og brands without fragrance! It’s a very important aspect of Asian and even most euro brands!

  • @Rose82155
    @Rose82155 Год назад +2

    I just wonder why all of these sunscreens have fragrance? I wish they had more unscented options. It seems like the only ones that are fragrance free are the main stream ones popular in the US.

    • @monicali8569
      @monicali8569 Год назад

      Because East Asian like most of Europe prefers scents. I personally strongly dislike “unscented” from American brands as they have a weird and uncomfortable odor.

    Only in the first 20 secs of the video and this might be addressed later but I still want to ask. Can someone in their early 20s use this even if this is for an older demographic? I am serious about anti aging so I want those benefits plus the regular up protection

    • @OdileMonodTheMonodist
      @OdileMonodTheMonodist  Год назад +1

      There are no negative side effects, but some of them are made to address issues (i.e. sagging skin, age spots) that you probably don't have yet. You can obviously use them preventively, but if you don't have any visible sign of aging yet, a sunscreen with antioxidants and barrier support will usually suffice for anti-aging prevention 😊

    • @monicali8569
      @monicali8569 Год назад

      Of course. I wouldn’t say this is older people products. The link line is geared towards more oily hence mostly younger skins , which odile mentions in this video. The brightening line is also for anyone. Bichup is also a line that any age can use. There are two essence /serum in this line that I incorporate into other history of whoo lines. Right now I’m using it with the yellow line.
