Apologies again for taking so long with this project! As I said The History of Whoo is my favourite Korean skincare brand and I always thought it was a real shame there was little information about it available in English, and the little information available is either poorly translated or plain confusing for regular consumers that may not be really familiar with Traditional Korean Medicine. So as your trusted Hanbang connoisseur, I took it upon myself to translate all their marketing materials in English and make the information digestible even for people that don't know anything about Oriental Medicine. The original version of this video was over 40 minute long, than I realised it would have taken me at least 30 minutes to properly explain you the formulation principles applied to the Hwanyu line so in the end I decided to make this video a 101 guide to The History of Whoo and make separate videos on each line (I'll space them out over the next year and half so those of you who always curse me for constantly recommending fragranced products, please don't freak out 😅). The great news is that these videos will be quicker for me to put together, because I've done almost all the translation work already! In the meantime, you can find all the translated materials I worked on on my website! If you have any line you would like me to start with, let me know in the comments below. themonodist.com/2022/06/08/the-history-of-whoo/
Wow, that is a lot of work and we appreciate your efforts. I'm in my 40s and I was a little confused where to start with history of Whoo. I will be patiently waiting for your line breakdown. Thank you 😊
We missed you and you don’t have to apologize. I understand how many hours needed to do such a professional review. As for myself I will see this video at least three times to understand all the details. For me the point is not buying at least right away BUT to understand the Korean culture and history. Thank you again.
I love the bichup line! A lot of Korean skincare makes my skin greasy but this line works well without making my skin feel suffocated. I'm glad to hear more about the whole brand!
Whenever I watch your videos on hanbang, I'm like 'Seriously, how are some plants going to boost my skin immunity, prevent and treat wrinkles? Maybe I should just stick to eating plants and keep my money safe.' And then I end up spending on Donginbi, Suryeohan, Yehwadam, Hanyul, Seolhwasoo, what else :)) And I am impressed every time by how nice my skin looks after using those products. I don't know if they really delay aging, I only have some fine lines that seem to get deeper slowly as times goes by (34 years old). But I have to believe they work. This one, I haven't tried, I haven't dared yet, but I am 100% sure that I will end up trying The History of Whoo too :))
It's completely understandable, I myself was pretty sceptical when I started approaching Hanbang skincare (I think a lot of this comes down to the fact that growing up in a Western country we're often told that TCM is alternative medicine nonsense) but, as you mentioned, I quickly realised most of these products made my skin so nice like no other products. Same with Hanbang medicine, actually! As I said in this video, I have a hereditary health condition and spent most of my life being told I just had to live with it, but ever since taking hanbang medicine the quality of my life dramatically improved.
Oh, my God ! Finally, all this is explained to detailed. Now, it makes it hard to choose but I am super excited to try them all . I am 56 yrs old and I feel my skin is losing elasticity . So, thankful to you for doing this video. I immediately liked n subscribed. ❤️.

As soon as I run out of my sulwhasoo products think its time to give the history of whoo a try. Thank you for explaining differences between the lines :)
So thankful for this video! Got Cheongidan line set as a gift from someone in China and I couldn’t figure out even the basics or if it was even worth trying or not. What a waste it would be been if I had let such amazing skincare go to waste.
Wow what a beautiful made and scripted infocommercial video. I've researching oriental beauty process and I find your videos simply awesome. Your voice is so good and the way you speak and present the information is really superb.
I am glad you put out another well informative video. Been waiting for your video as they offer the best product out there and the reason why there best up to this time. I always go back to your earlier video every time I would purchase something and listen to your analysis and from their I could make my chose. Thanks for taken time in doing this. Happy when you put out topics in your Instagram.
Many thanks, Odile! I am fascinated by this brand but the price point is too high to just jump in without a deeper understanding of the products. This video is most helpful.
Thank you for the review of each line and for sharing your favorites. I have a TCM background and you’ve inspired me. I’m old now so I can justify using ginseng formulas internally and externally.
Thank you for this video, I wanted to try this brand but I was so confuse with the targeted age group and type of skin...I am 45 but I still have combination to oily with blemishes at times so I kind of give up on which line to buy. But after this video I think I know which one to buy... although I did discover Donginbi Moisture and firming Ex line because of your video and OMG, the smell of ginseng is so refreshing and a little do wonders and my skin is better on that than anything else it seems. I was a non believer of paying so much for skincare but I am seeing a huge difference. Thanks for all the éducation!
I recently discovered your channel and absolutely love it. Your content is so informative without pushing a ton of products. You have really helped me narrow down my selections. and I appreciate the information. I have mature and oily skin but I find that you also have recommendations for my skin type as well. I have tried a few of your suggestions and I like them.
I just discovered your channel and have been binge watching all your videos! Thank you for being so informative and providing all these translations! I'm definitely subscribing
I actually watched it to the end! your voice is calming, information organized and clear and it is exactly what I am looking for to learn more about this product. Subscribed. Thank you so much.
Thank you for all of your work on this! I’ve been interested in this brand for a long time but couldn’t find enough information about the products in English to feel comfortable making a purchase.
Thank you, I figured many people would be in the same position so I thought it was worth spending so much time to create with a comprehensive guide in English 😊
Thank you si much Odile!! I love all your informative brand videos. Please keep them coming. You forgot the GORGEOUS lip sticks the h of whoo has, love the formula, pigmentation and nourshing. Regard from MEXICO😍
This was such a well made video. I've been anticipating this video since you posted that you were working on it and honestly it's pretty amazing. Btw will you be covering History of Whoo's tone up sunscreen as well in the near future ?
Thank you for yet another fantastic video. I adore this brand and have used their products for years 💗 It was truly helpful to have such detailed yet concise breakdown of their different lines. Your recommendations never disappoint Odile, which also means that I now have more skincare on my shopping list 😆 Love 💕 💕 💕
Hahaha same honestly! I myself only follow this type of content on youtube. Even if I don't purchase anything in the end, I feel like at least I can get something useful from an informative video compared to a regular review!
Oh my goodness, this is what I NEED!!! I am a firm believer in oriental medicine except here in Canada I wouldn't even know where to start looking. I'm hoping it not too pricey and be able to exttol the virtues of this brand on my own channel 😍💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
@@OdileMonodTheMonodist I have started using Korean skincare and my skin has never looked better at 54 and I am now coveting more and more brands 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Thank you Odile for this informative content, I don’t have to google translate anymore 😂. My fav gongjinhyang soo 💗 the product from this line smell like a luxurious perfume, a very relaxing scent. (It’s smell seriously good and effective)
Can't thank you enough for this video and your website. Been trying different samples from different lines but haven't the slightest idea of what they are created for. Been loving the purple line. Now I know why. Will definitely rwad your website and take notes. Thank you once again. What are your thoughts on Sulwhasoo?
Im so glad seeing your video , very intresting and well done with lots of details . I really need to start the red line ! and I want to try as well the brightening cream for spot more for preventing things though I do not have major hyperpigmentation .
Thank u for this review and ur website, which offers an incredible amount of information that's lacking on ALL the hangbang websites out there. The brand itself has great packaging and even booklets, but all are in Korean with minimal ENGLISH translation. I bought Hwanyu & I personally love it, but Instructions for use are very lacking. Lordy the sample sized 4ml containers only have Korean symbols so it's impossible to tell the products apart. Ur website and THoW websites remedied that. So much research just together info that should have come with a product
Thank you for sharing the information. Really excited to learn more on each line. Been wanting to try their products but been confused with the different line. Don't really dare to buy it as I'm scared it won't be compatible with my skin. Recently finished using Dr G's sunscreen, its as nice as your what you mention in your previous video.
This video was sooooo INFORMATIVE!!! I followed along with the written research. Thank you for doing these translations. I never tried this line because I couldn't find any reviews in English. Imma definitely try it for myself. Looks way more like traditional medicine was used moreso than Sulwhasoo. I believe that older formulas are more reliable because they have lasted because of their effectiveness. Again, thank you and now I'm following you.
I wish I could try some of these but with rosacea some of the herbal extracts and added synthetic fragrances wouldn't be a good idea. Thank you for the information.
I love your videos. So informative and your voice is so relaxing. ❤ I’m over 40, no menopause yet 😅 but I have combination skin, larges pores, dull skin, minimal fine lines and minor hyperpigmentation. Are their creams good for combination skin? I am considering the Bichup line.
Another amazingly informative and well-put together video from you Odile! I am binging your videos and your website content 😊 I'm 43 and have oily combination skin and overall have very few wrinkles so far, however am seeing some loss of elasticity particularly with more pronounced smile lines. Between the different lines and the products you picked in this video, I'm wondering which ones you'd recommend in my case. Also, love your voice and the whole vibe of your videos, it's so soothing and calming.
Im new to your channel, but thank God I have found you because I am thirsty to know all what you are educating us here with your videos. Are you planning to make a dedicated overall brand video for Sulwhasoo and Donginbi as well like you did here? Please because I want to make a routine with the most potent red ginseng ingredient products from these brand. I am lokking for best essence, serum, eye cream and moisturizer from this 3 brands. And I am using your videos so far to do so. Thank you for taking your time to tell us all these usefull informations again!❤😊
Yes they’re the same “type” of product as in what I call “serum textured essence”. I also use “toner textured essence” such as SK II treatment essence, Missha also has a famous dupe you can find in another odile video
What 1-2 products would you suggest for 56 years old, nice barrier, only few light wrinkles but sun spots on the cheeks. As a child always had fricless in summer but now aren’t so cute as they have a pea size. Also my second concern are puffy eyes.
Which 1 works for dark undereyes ? The red line? Since it can help with blood circulation issues, dark spots & redness from acne? Or is the light pink or dark purple 1 better 🤔 im younger then 40 & 50 but I would love to try this line
Thank you so much! This is a wonderful video. Is it possible for you to make a video about MISSHA Cho Gong Jin line? It is a Hanbang line that is more available to Americans. Thank you for your consideration. I value your expertise and enjoy your videos very much.
Thank you! Missha relaunched their entire Hanbang range in March in Korea. I bought serums from all their new lines and I'm currently testing them to make a dedicated video this fall 😊
@@OdileMonodTheMonodist Oh, I am so excited. Thank you! I did not realize they were doing a relaunch. I bought the line Cho Gong Jin Youngan in January. I am in love with it all. It is a bit heavy, but I am seeing such good results. :) Also Youngan (purple) is the only line available for purchase in English on the Missha American site except for Cho Gong Jin Sulbon dark spot correcting cream. That is the singular item available in the Cho Gong Jin Sulbon line. None of the Sosaeng is available. Is the Gem Sul line hanbang? It is hard to understand according to the website.
@@therealJamieJoyI don’t recommend buying from us based sites because often times the formulation isn’t the same as Korean ones even if it still says made in Korea. This is 100% true for any spf product but could have the variations in other items as well
Hi Odile! Thanks for the very informative video. I have been a fan of history of whoo since 2020. I’ve been using the various products from each line. As now I am planning for a baby, may I know if History of Whoo is safe to use for pregnancy and breastfeeding mother? Thank you
Yes their products don't contain any ingredients that are considered potentially harmful during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The only exceptions could be their sunscreens which contain chemical UV filters - technically there is no conclusive proof that chemical UV filters could be harmful during pregnancy and breastfeeding but some people prefer being extra cautious and use mineral sunscreens in those periods. So if you'd like to be on the safe side, just avoid their sunscreens - everything else is fine! 😌
Hi Odile, thank you for this comprehensive info of history of whoo. May I know how would you compare the Bichup self-generating anti aging essence with the Bichup ultimate youth serum?
One is what I refer to as “serum textured essence” (which is a step right after toner , and before a serum. )The other one is a serum. I personally also use a toner textured essence such as SK II treatment essence which is the step before toner.
@monicali8569 I think you're mixing up the First Moisture Anti-aging Essence with the Korean name of the previous version of the Bichup Serum (Self-Generating Anti-aging essence/concentrate in English). I think the commenter was asking about the differences between the previous version of the Bichup serum and the new one launched this year (called Ultimate Youth Serum). To the original commenter: apologies for the late reply but I didn't get a notification for some reason, anyway I will make a video on the new reformulated Bichup line soon so stay tuned 😁
I have the HwanYu line however there is very little information on how each step is used and when. I want to add Bichup for day time as I shower twice a day because of workouts. What is the proper way of using the hwanyu line ?
This skincare brand loos really interesting! I honestly didn’t know about it until now. My skin is really sensitive. Which collections do you suggest? My skin is recently showing some purging/acne. Still trying to figure it out.
Hi Odile, thank you so much for such a informative content. Just wanted to ask a question about Gongjinhyang Firming Concentrate. You don't have it listed on your website. Is it gone? Discontinued?
@@OdileMonodTheMonodist and could you explain what is the difference between cheongidan gold concentrate and bichup self-generating anti-aging concentrate? do they have same function but one of them is kind of elevated version of the other (I mean if you are using one then there's no need to use the other one at the same time as they provide similar effects) or they have completely different functions in skincare and both could (should) be used within the same skincare routine? I just don't know if to use one or both, I have combo to normal dehydrated skin, over 30yr
Both are what I categorize as “serum textured essence” and yes you’d pick one out of the two. I personally also use a “toner textured essence” such as SK II treatment essence , before a toner.
Hi. Really loved and appreciate your video. I am 52 years old with dehydrated and sensitive skin. Which brand or product can you recommend to me? Really appreciate your advice. Thank you very much.
Hi Odile, I really enjoyed this video and I want to get the mask "History of whoo Gongjinhyang Neck & Face Repair" as a part of my night routine but first I would like to ask you if I could use this product with retinol. Thanks again for your reviews 🙂
Hi Odile, great video! do you happen to know what deer antler extract is? I read that it is herbal, but wasn‘t able to find out with certainty. your or anyone‘s information would be appreciated. many thanks!
Thank you 🙏 Deer Antler Extract is a highly-prized ingredient used in Oriental Medicine to boost stamina and immunity. This study is really comprehensive and covers all the benefits traditionally associated with the ingredient www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0378874112008306 Oriental Medicine ingredients are generally called "herbal ingredients" because they're natural but they're not necessarily "herbs" as the name would suggest: herbal ingredients include plant-derived ingredients, animal-derived ingredients and minerals. Deer Antler Extract in this case is an animal-derived ingredient, it's an extract sourced from the antlers of deers. Deers naturally shed their antlers every year and these antlers are known as "deer velvet", whereas "deer antler extract" is made by cutting the antlers of the deer when they reach maturity (when the active components in the antlers are at their peak). "Deer velvet" and "deer antler extract" are both used in Oriental Medicine for different purposes, some English articles get them mixed up but there are different words to identify these ingredients in Korean and Chinese. Deer velvet is technically harmless (deers naturally shed it every year), deer antler extract is man-sourced and could pose ethical issues for some people. Mind, deers are not killed in the process, they are farmed for this purpose, the cutting happens in a controlled environment which is safe for the deera and they grow back antlers every year so it's not as gruesome as it could sound, but I also understand why it would make some people uncomfortable!
@@OdileMonodTheMonodist Hi Odile, thank you SO much for your detailed and informative response! I really appreciate you sharing your wisdom 🙏🏽 I read online that it was herbal, but your explanation makes complete sense. Is there any way of getting to know whether the history of whoo is cruelty free? I get the fact that removing antlers do not cause deers to die, but they would still be held as farm animals (as opposed to be roaming in the wild) and the antlers are part of the deer‘s skull. So, there is a possibility that those animals suffer. I am a proud new owner of the history of whoo bichup concentrate, but I thought it was all plant ingredients 😬
I checked the Korean wording they use in the ingredient list and it's Deer Antler Extract sorry 🤕 in general, the brand is not cruelty-free as they use many animal-derived ingredients like oyster shell powder and Cordyceps (a parasitic fungus that feeds off the internal tissues of insects) and they're also widely available in China, so their products are tested on animals.
@@OdileMonodTheMonodist OMG, thank you very much for checking!! I will be a lot more careful from now on and consult your videos much more rigorously. I will switch to a cruelty free option after this. I know that vegan brands often hype ingredients that are “natural” but are not necessarily good. Is there any vegan brand or product range in Korea that still has great research and development? Thank you again for being so kind!
Do all the lines contain red ginseng? Or only some products? Great video! If only the eye cream wasn't so expensive 😅 Maybe someday I'll be able to splurge on it.
Guten Tag und viele Grüße aus Deutschland, ich bedanke mich für die ausführliche Darstellung. Bin begeistert und wiederum sehr traurig... Ich habe nicht die Möglichkeit diese Produkte bei uns zu beziehen... Schade...
Am really enjoying your videos. Just wondering though, on your website none of these products are mentioned in your daily routine. Do you no longer use them?
Hello! The daily routine you see on my website simply shows what I was using in that particular moment of time (when I did my live on youtube). It was summer and my skin was healing from extractions, so I built that routine with that in mind and I also tried to articulate why I was using a certain product in that particular situation. My regular routine (as in, when my skin is "healthy") is completely different from that routine and it's built to tackle entirely different issues. Hope it makes sense!
Hello Odile , thank you for your video I just came back from a trip in Asia and bought thanks to your videos the bishup line from whoo , I was wondering if I can still use retinol with Korean high end herbal product ? Or if there is no need ? My main concern is firming my skin. Thank you ❤
Thank you 🥰 You can use it in combination with a retinoid if you prefer, the two approaches are not mutually exclusive. On the contrary, I heard from many people that they find combining Hanbang skincare with retinoids ideal because Hanbang products help enhance skin resilience and reduce irritation!
@@OdileMonodTheMonodist thank you for your prompt response !! It’s fantastic I look forward to start my new regimen. Thank you for the great work that you do and for sharing your passion and expertise ❤️❤️❤️❤️
It's just another way to say "skin barrier function" 😂 I try to make my videos digestible even for skincare beginners so instead of saying "improve skin barrier function" I try to say things like "improve skin’s defences/immunity" so it can be easily understood even by those who don't know what the skin barrier is.
@@OdileMonodTheMonodist that makes so much sense to me now, thank you so much for the clarification. I'm eager to see your video on the best sunscreens of 2022
Thanks for the awesome video. I love this brand!! Can I ask you a question? How do you rate Donginbi Ginseng Serum against the background of this brand? And the ginseng line from Sulwhasoo? Thank you.
I think you may be referring to the Secret Court line! It was partially discontinued two years ago and now only the Toner and the Lotion from the line are available through Whoo’s authorised door-to-door sellers in Korea, so it's no longer sold in stores or through their official ecommerce. I was told by one of their SAs that they’re planning to discontinue the line altogether soon, but SAs are not always a reliable source of information and they will say anything to land a sale so who knows 🤷♀️
Hey Odile :3 Is it possible to re-fill stuff like Whoo's self-generating concentrate? Or Sulwhasoo's serums in those pumps? I'm planning to try several minis sold in 1ml bags, and if I like em I'd love to buy a full size product... but is it possible to open em to refill? :O
@@OdileMonodTheMonodist hm... in your opinion, would they work in a normal serum bottle? I'm not sure if they are too thick or have too many natural ingredients and shouldnt be exposed to air like that? What do you think? :3
The first serum (which is a serum textured essence) yes, you’d use it before a serum. The others in hwanyu might be a bit thick for you if you’re oily skin type
Apologies again for taking so long with this project!

Hahaha same honestly! I myself only follow this type of content on youtube. Even if I don't purchase anything in the end, I feel like at least I can get something useful from an informative video compared to a regular review!
Such beautiful packaging.
Thank you! I'm a firm believer in Oriental Medicine myself and on this channel I often try to highlight Korean brands that follow this approach 😊
Thank you for all these great informations
Pleasure is all mine 🙏
Your work for us is priceless! Thank you so much for such a great video.
Thank you ❤️ I try my best to be helpful 🙏
It’s finally here! Been waiting so long for this, thanks so much for your hard work!
At last! Thank you so much for the patience 🙏
Love it!!! Thanks Odile!!! Im so confused with all the names/terms before this. Now i have a clear understanding !! ❤️❤️
Pleasure is all mine! I'm glad it was helpful ❤️
I need a hair brand version of this
History of whoo does have shampoo/conditioner and it’s excellent
Thank You 🙏❤️ Always enjoy your videos … they’re so informative 👍👏🥰
Aww, thank you! I really appreciate it ❤️
Can't thank you enough for this video and your website. Been trying different samples from different lines but haven't the slightest idea of what they are created for. Been loving the purple line. Now I know why. Will definitely rwad your website and take notes. Thank you once again. What are your thoughts on Sulwhasoo?
I prefer history of whoo over sulwhasoo
hi Odile, thanks for the video. I enjoy them all!
Aww, thank you! 😭
Im so glad seeing your video , very intresting and well done with lots of details . I really need to start the red line ! and I want to try as well the brightening cream for spot more for preventing things though I do not have major hyperpigmentation .
Thank you so much 🙏🙏 I'm glad to hear it was helpful
Thank u for this review and ur website, which offers an incredible amount of information that's lacking on ALL the hangbang websites out there. The brand itself has great packaging and even booklets, but all are in Korean with minimal ENGLISH translation. I bought Hwanyu & I personally love it, but Instructions for use are very lacking. Lordy the sample sized 4ml containers only have Korean symbols so it's impossible to tell the products apart. Ur website and THoW websites remedied that. So much research just together info that should have come with a product
I’m enjoying so much your videos, one of my future goals will be some of the K beauty skincare products, thank you so much 😊 .
That's so nice to hear, thank you for the trust 🙏
This was so informative and helpful! Thank you so much
Thank you 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for sharing the information. Really excited to learn more on each line. Been wanting to try their products but been confused with the different line. Don't really dare to buy it as I'm scared it won't be compatible with my skin. Recently finished using Dr G's sunscreen, its as nice as your what you mention in your previous video.
Thank you! Really happy to hear it lived up to expectations and I hope the same will happen with Whoo 🙏
Thank you so much. I waited for this video. Tnx, tnx, tnx.❤️❤️❤️
Pleasure is all mine! I'm sorry it took so long but at least I'm happy to hear it was worth the wait 🙏
Odile, next video is complete introduction of O-HUI? 🙏
Maybe not right next this video, but it’s already in my plans 😁😁
This video was sooooo INFORMATIVE!!! I followed along with the written research. Thank you for doing these translations. I never tried this line because I couldn't find any reviews in English. Imma definitely try it for myself. Looks way more like traditional medicine was used moreso than Sulwhasoo. I believe that older formulas are more reliable because they have lasted because of their effectiveness. Again, thank you and now I'm following you.
Thank you very much 🙏🙏 I really appreciate it and I'm glad to hear the guide could be helpful 🥰
I prefer history of whoo over sulwhasoo
Great video History of whoo is the best
Parabéns , pelo vídeo ! Simplesmente perfeita a explicação. Vou basear minhas compras na sua explicação .
I forgot to mention that your voice and your accent are the sweetest! ☺️
Their packages are so lovely, I would purchase the products just to put less expensive creams in them. But I am afraid I might fall in love with them…
They’re truly the best - just for texture it’s 100% better than any western formula
BTW, I have fallen in love with Sooryehan Hyobidam Fermented Toner.
That line is something else right!
How would you compare the history of whoo vs Dongibini in terms of efficacy?
Thank you! 23 minutes went by fast!
I supposed I can mix and match from different lines to suit my skin type. Can you please do the same for Sulwhasoo? Thank you 😊
Absolutely! I myself mix and match all the time 😁
Dear Odile. Thank you so much for the very detail information. May i know is the best one for oily combination skin and anti aging. Thanks
I wish I could try some of these but with rosacea some of the herbal extracts and added synthetic fragrances wouldn't be a good idea. Thank you for the information.
I love your videos. So informative and your voice is so relaxing. ❤
I’m over 40, no menopause yet 😅 but I have combination skin, larges pores, dull skin, minimal fine lines and minor hyperpigmentation. Are their creams good for combination skin? I am considering the Bichup line.
You can incorporate bichup with the other ones such as cheongidan
Another amazingly informative and well-put together video from you Odile! I am binging your videos and your website content 😊 I'm 43 and have oily combination skin and overall have very few wrinkles so far, however am seeing some loss of elasticity particularly with more pronounced smile lines. Between the different lines and the products you picked in this video, I'm wondering which ones you'd recommend in my case. Also, love your voice and the whole vibe of your videos, it's so soothing and calming.
Incorporate bichup essence and serum to any of the lines. I would say jinyulhyang, cheongyuldan and hwanyu lines for you. I’ve tried them all
Im new to your channel, but thank God I have found you because I am thirsty to know all what you are educating us here with your videos.
Can the bichup self generating concentrate be used instead of Sulwhasoo’s first care serum? Or after it?
Yes they’re the same “type” of product as in what I call “serum textured essence”. I also use “toner textured essence” such as SK II treatment essence, Missha also has a famous dupe you can find in another odile video
@@monicali8569 Thank you. Unfortunately I don’t enjoy using it because it’s sticky, plus all History of Whoo products are heavily perfumed.
May I ask between The history of Whoo ,Su:m 37 and Sulwhasoo which one are the best.
History of whoo especially for aging skin. If young like early 20s doesn’t really make as much difference. However for hanbang history of whoo is best
What 1-2 products would you suggest for 56 years old, nice barrier, only few light wrinkles but sun spots on the cheeks. As a child always had fricless in summer but now aren’t so cute as they have a pea size. Also my second concern are puffy eyes.
Hwanyu and the corrector from brightening line
This is 100% true for any spf product but could have the variations in other items as well
@@monicali8569 Thank you, I am buying from the Missha site. :)
Love this video ❤❤❤❤
@@OdileMonodTheMonodist thanks for your reply! Looking forward to the video! :)
I have that before but I never though it's expensive😭I never use it because I never know it's skincare
Sooooo goooood!
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
I have the HwanYu line however there is very little information on how each step is used and when.
Yes it was discontinued last year sadly!
History of whoo is the best hanbang brand. Start with buchup like which can be incorporated into any line.
Hi Odile, I really enjoyed this video and I want to get the mask "History of whoo Gongjinhyang Neck & Face Repair" as a part of my night routine but first I would like to ask you if I could use this product with retinol. Thanks again for your reviews 🙂
She answered this in another question but said this is a good combo because it improves the skins resilience and tolerance of retinoids
Wow... What a lot of info.
This study is really comprehensive and covers all the benefits traditionally associated with the ingredient www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0378874112008306
Oriental Medicine ingredients are generally called "herbal ingredients" because they're natural but they're not necessarily "herbs" as the name would suggest: herbal ingredients include plant-derived ingredients, animal-derived ingredients and minerals.
I want to splurge on the Cheonyuldan Ultimate Regerating Cream.....is it worth it you think? I have dry, slightly acne prone skin - but mostly dry.
Do all the lines contain red ginseng? Or only some products? Great video! If only the eye cream wasn't so expensive 😅 Maybe someday I'll be able to splurge on it.
What a beautiful watch. I feel beautiful just watching this. And you. I don't know why. 😕 love ❤ 😍 💖 ❣ 💕
Aww thank you 🥺🥺
Guten Tag und viele Grüße aus Deutschland, ich bedanke mich für die ausführliche Darstellung.
How would you say is the history of whoo fragrance? Strong, old ladyish or not too strong or does each product vary?
Can you further explain what does "skin's immunity" means? You have me sold with everything except that phrase.
I'm eager to see your video on the best sunscreens of 2022
Is the eye cream better than the AHC eye cream?
Ciao! Ci sono linee per pelli acneiche? Grazie 🤗
can you please advise what product in the History of Whoo treats rosacea please?
It's an anti-aging brand sorry.
Thanks for the awesome video. I love this brand!! Can I ask you a question? How do you rate Donginbi Ginseng Serum against the background of this brand? And the ginseng line from Sulwhasoo? Thank you.
HoW has much better combined ingredients.

Hi Odile, I remember seeing another white colored packaging of history of whoo skincare. Do you know what it is?
Searched around, it’s called Myunguihyang. Is that an older line?
I think you may be referring to the Secret Court line! It was partially discontinued two years ago and now only the Toner and the Lotion from the line are available through Whoo’s authorised door-to-door sellers in Korea, so it's no longer sold in stores or through their official ecommerce. I was told by one of their SAs that they’re planning to discontinue the line altogether soon, but SAs are not always a reliable source of information and they will say anything to land a sale so who knows 🤷♀️
Indeed, that's the Korean name of the Secret Court line 👍
@@OdileMonodTheMonodistthank you so much!! I think I’ve tried almost all the history of whoo lines after watching your video lol.
Does someone knows if i can exchange expired whoo products for new ones anywhere?
Hey Odile :3 Is it possible to re-fill stuff like Whoo's self-generating concentrate? Or Sulwhasoo's serums in those pumps?
I'm planning to try several minis sold in 1ml bags, and if I like em I'd love to buy a full size product... but is it possible to open em to refill? :O
I just checked the packaging of the Bichup Concentrate and Sulwhasoo’s Concentrated Ginseng serum and they can't be opened sorry 😥
@@OdileMonodTheMonodist hm... in your opinion, would they work in a normal serum bottle? I'm not sure if they are too thick or have too many natural ingredients and shouldnt be exposed to air like that? What do you think? :3
It’s definitely more “freeh” or sanitary to not open up packages just to expose them to air and repackage
is this brand are good enough for a woman over 50 ? please let me know .. thanks in advance
It’s literally for anti aging so yes. Start with buchup if budget isn’t a concern pair with hwanyu line
Thanks!
❤️❤️ thank you for the constant support fellow Aroha 🙏
I have a doubt, can the Hwanyu line be used for people in their 20s?
The first serum (which is a serum textured essence) yes, you’d use it before a serum. The others in hwanyu might be a bit thick for you if you’re oily skin type
