I am currently applying for a Integrated Bachelor Masters in RT and have been binge watching your videos! I really hope I get in. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and information!
I was weight lifting [ like 3 years ago] I got pretty serious and had an issue with pre workouts, they made me break out. Leacine or L-carnentine [which ever comes in liquid form] gave me plenty of energy and kinda helped me focus witch my studies...thought i'd share that with you.
Thanks for sharing! I actually need to get some more pre workout so I'll check it out! I've been breaking out since I started this damn program 😂. I hadn't broken out in so long I had no idea what to do lol. Hopefully once I graduate my skin will chill out a little!
I am currently looking into starting an RT Program. I’m extremely nervous to say that this is what I want to do, considering I thought I knew for a long time! Can you explain to me how clinicals typically work? Also, I work roughly 36 hours a week. I can always change my availability, but do you think this is something that is achievable while working? Thanks so much!!
Hey! Clinical schedules vary greatly by school. My school does 12 hour shifts (day or night shift you can pick) 3 days a week along with one four hour lab per week. This schedule lasts for about 7 weeks in my 3rd, 4th, and 5th semester. Some schools do 6-8 hours a few days a week along with classes. So it is best to see how the schools in your area structure their clinical hours. Working is definitly doable, difficult, but doable. Some of my classmates are still working in our last semester. If your are able to have a flexible schedule that will make things much easier! Good luck and feel free to reach out with any other questions!
Breathe Easy Ah! Thanks so much for the reply! I will definitely have to find out how my school chooses to do clinical schedules! Thanks so much! I have been watching all of your videos and I’m so happy that you are documenting this journey! You’re gonna do awesome!!

+Breathe Easy okay good. I'll just wait until you're not busy anymore. 😊 Good luck to your studies. God bless you 😇
How long are your clinicals????
My clinical rotations are about 7 weeks long each with 3, 12 hour days and one lab day during the week 😊
Wow!
It's nice because it gives me an idea of what a real work day will be like
Is RT a pre med course?
Respiratory therapy is a degree. Some people may choose to go on to become a doctor after if that is what they choose to do.
Oh mygosh... thankss
