Honest trailer got a whole team working on each video they make. While Pitch Meetings skits only got Ryan George, writing, recording and editing, dude doing a team work.
The Kessle run (or however it’s spelled), when mentioned during the movies, always bugged me. They used the “parsec” to mean a time unit when it’s a distance unit in physics. Get it right, goddamnit!
Thanks. I missed the "I hate you; I know" post-predecessor to the infamous ESB line even after multiple viewings. Also, "Taco Bell Beef Orange: in Star Wars?!?! Yeah! Big Ryan George fan, mentioned it in several comments, but gotta give this one to Honest Trailers!
Producer guy’s comment of the android all about equal rights being made a prisoner/slave in the ship for eternity sounding like a Black Mirror episode is on point! That was exactly my thought when I first saw that seen.
I think what would have been WAY better for the movie if the Solos are famous [locally on Corellia] family name where Han is the black sheep. This is why he doesn't want to talk about his last name.
Fun fact: "Solo" means "alone" in Spanish (not sure why Imperial officers know and reference Spanish...) and one of the meanings of "Han" in Korean is "one (of something)". So yeah. Han Solo = One Lone Guy? I guess? Haha. Suuuuper glad I did not waste time watching that movie haha.
😂🤣😂 Wow! It's funny, I would never tell anyone that they need to watch it. There's nothing there that adds to the Star Wars lore that's people need to see.
The ironic thing about Ryan George’s video here is that it says it’s in 1995 and here’s 2 true things about 1995 I encourage you all to look up: 1) The fact that they were going to make Star Wars prequel‘s was already widely known and would have come as a surprise to no one. I actually remember hearing about that shit on the radio for the first time in 1991 when I was in first grade. 2) by 1995 there were already multiple young han solo books and comic book series because Star Wars fans specifically DID want to know about that era. I hate having to say this but RUclips Star Wars culture is all about what millennials think about it exclusively but those guys tend to forget that there’s an entire generation of Star Wars fans that were here before you guys and we DID want prequels, sequels, and spin-offs (just not necessarily The exact versions we ended up getting.)
Ultimately the numbers don't lie, and solo lost money. I don't think I even finished this thing, and sure didn't go to the movies to see it. That was the beginning of the end for Star Wars under the grubby paws of Disney, then Jar Jar Abrams with his studio Bad Reboot, the franchise killer delivering the mercy shot years later. Nice one, Disney
I was inspired to think of other pointless reasons for Star Wars names: - Skywalker: had a relative who enjoyed strolls atop a starship in the clouds - Calrissian: It's a recent-ish term, but as Lando seemed quite charming, he came from a long line of "all the rizz having". - Andor: famously indecisive ancestor who'd answer every question with "and or?" - Palaptine: heart surgeons, so "palpitation maintenance" - Opress: I guess, self-explanatory, had a tyrant patriarch. - Windu: glaziers who made windows so... ironic, I guess. - Tano: Look like they had great tans, I suppose. - Organa: Once a family of pipe organ players or "organers". - Mothma: nurtured flying insects, so a "moth mother/mama/ma"

If not, it's one of my all time favorites. Bruce Campbell, James Marsden, Katie Holmes, William Sadler, Katharine Isobel (small role, few lines, but as beautiful as ever--you might know her from Ginger Snaps), Nick Stahl (this was before T3--I'm guessing he was NOT sober for this role because he's not the annoying twerp he'd later become. Okay so you now know this movie has a stellar cast. Can you do YOUR OWN PITCH MEETING of this movie? As long as it's free on RUclips, you can't be sued, per GNU licensing. I know it's a big ask, but if you think it might help, I'll watch the movie 5 or 6x and make a ton of notes on the stuff you can mock. It'd be like a collaboration. I've got a proliferate vocabulary, too, and we can utilize that. If you made one, remember: anytime someone would run a search for "pitch meeting" your video would pop up. Dude, you could amass such a following! I'd love to see it happen to you. (Then I could tell all my friends, "I helped that guy become an influencer!) .... (wait. Now that I think about it... my friends will probably despise me if you actually become famous on RUclips. ...Guess it'll be our secret.) But check the movie out. And listen to the music. The prequel movies have enough redeeming qualities to be considered good, and I will die on that hill. lol I mean, it allowed the creation of the Clone Wars series, which I think most people agree was a great show.
I enjoyed this movie more than I thought. I remember the theatre being less than half capacity and I’m pretty sure it was because of a boycott after that whole Last Jedi fiasco.
