Came from watching Geoff Marshall’s video he done yesterday about the former Folkestone Harbour branch line. So sad it’s not there anymore. Would there be a spur linking from Folkestone Central to Folkestone Harbour and to have a station between Folkestone Central and Folkestone Harbour.
I could appreciate these cabride/footplate/mitfahrt videos more if they would either start or end with a picture of the train itself so we can see what we're riding on.
I used to be taken to the funfair on the beach at Folkestone as a child , but iv now learned it's no longer open same as the cliff lifts. (How did this happen ??? ) It would be great to open a new fun park with apartment's for family weekends , now it's so quick an easy to travel to and from now transport links have been highly improved.

Yep same
@@luxford60 Lol
Same :-)
It made £100k a year for £7m in upkeep.
Once the abandoned line gets developed into a park and cycle line, it will be great to see a comparison.

Cool
So sad.
Folkestone East looks strange.
Yes the platform looks very narrow
One really doesn't notice the steepness of the climb: 1:30.
Plans now to reopen this line....
yeah as a park I thought?
Only as a pedestrian track

@@originalherdsman3524 it's not the 1960s any more. People don't want to go to scrubby Folkstone
This will never be reopened
