- Allan spends twenty minutes talking with Horacio, Kyland, and Ed following their eliminations on Episode 16 of The Challenge Battle For a New Champion.
Horacio and Kyland are both class acts. To know they had the target on their backs the whole show, I really commend their positive attitudes. You both are winners and were the anchors of the show.
We need more ppl n the world like them

@@SilverLake401 Asaf was the snake that was playing both sides. He pretended to be on the international side but was Jay's best buddy. Besides it was funny because in the testimonial Asaf said he was running the show and he had no fear of going home.
Horacio is such a beautiful soul 😢it’s heartbreaking to hear how dedicated he was to protecting Olivia meanwhile it was only one sided. I’m over Olivia the villain
This elimination just proves Nurys’s phone call that Olivia can never be completely trusted…. I thought so different of Olivia up until this point… although she did show signs of not being totally trustworthy
outside of cams she seems very toxic
In hindsight, them showing us the convo between nurys and her bro was telling us something that was gonna happen in the future between Olivia and nurys.

I felt so so bad for Horacio, he was so heartbroken when Olivia didn’t pick Nurys. Like he said, you try to not make it personal but it definitely is. He’s known Olivia since 2014 I’d be in tears if she did that to me.😢
how did they know each other since then?
Like even if she wasn't going to pick Nurys she should have at least picked Horacio saying fuck Jay and Michelle's game.

She was his ride-or-die, they were supposed to be best friends, but I guess it ended up being one sided. He was more loyal in the end. At least he found a ride-or-die in Nurys.
Olivia can’t be trusted-played both sides - jay told her she’d be in bottom it was her chance to change the whole game with people that put her first
It was mind-boggling that after weeks of no one going home, that in two episodes we lost the 2 most athletic women, followed by the top 3 male competitors, without any of them having to face off in a real head-on, one-on-one elimination. The tangrams puzzle they had was something I actually taught to elementary students years ago.😂 It goes along with a storybook that as you read it, the kids have to try to recreate the different animal shapes shown on each page with the tangrams. You can't always use the shape of the pieces in a straight forward way (like Horacio and Kyland were trying to do for the swan's head), sometimes the sides/angles of the larger pieces make the same shapes as the smaller ones depending on how you maneuver them or change their direction. It's all about thinking outside the box to get them to all fit together correctly. At this point, the season should be renamed- Challenge 39: The Final Reckoning of the Lay-ups.
Hope Olivia sees this. Horacio said some real stuff here.
i'm mad asl still. It's not even just Olivia's decision that ticks me off. Its the reasoning behind it. "Self preservation mode"? Really?! You were literally picked third. You had no threat of going into elimination. You had free reign to make your own decision. The same people you're trying to protect literally put you on the edge of elimination, in the most scummy way, the previously nomination. Like wtf is wrong with you?!
And let's be real - how much of a chance does Olivia have of winning the whole thing - slim to none although it appears to be heading for a very weak final. And Michelle would turn on Olivia in a heartbeat.

Horacio is such a class act. He handles everything with grace and so well spoken. His mom must be so proud! He will always be their biggest threat. Dont change a thing Horacio!

Honestly Olivia could have told Horacio and the others she had a conversation with Michelle. Tell them the promise she had to make BUT she would vote for them as long as one of them voted for Moriah. Let Moriah pick who she wanted.

This is by far one of the most emotional rollercoaster seasons I've seen so far
It was a sad moment. To see the look on Horacio's face was hard to watch. He was still so gracious. I was glad Nurys let loose though.
I'm glad these interviews happened, and that we got to hear what Horacio had to say about the betrayal. I definitely look at Liv differently now, lost a lot of respect for her. Can't wait to see these guys, Nurys, and Zara on future seasons, hopefully!

Their integrity and athletic talent surpassed anyone on this season..

I have done that type of tangram, the problem is changing the way you look at the individual shapes and try to create a different shape with them. Confusing to explain and confusing to do.
You should have ask Ed. Why did he stick with Jay Alliance knowing he was at the bottom. He literally was a follower throughout this season. He didn’t have a mind of his own. Also LOWKEY Allan was definitely fan girling Horacio. I spy Allan having a little crush on him lol👀
Straight up, time restriction. No offense to Ed, but Horacio & Kyland had way more going on in the game/storyline wise. Which is kind of why I made the joke asking what's his situation with Melissa/Olivia these days. He was a good sport about it.
I think he stuck with Jay them knowing he could probably beat that side in a final and Horacio and kyland were bigger threats
One day horacio is going to be a champ on the challenge. They need to go back to competing for skulls because this little scared sending the same person in is really annoying
Horacio might not ever win a season, and the reason I say that is everyone knows that he’s a beast and every season he’s gonna be fighting an uphill battle. Nobody wants to see him in the finals. Just my opinion
But that makes him a new CT and I believe he will be champion, he’s a reckon to deal with and even against the odds, he will make it one day!
My season ended with this episode. No longer care about the rest of the season. I’ll try the next season, but I’m done with this one.
After ED catching strays on this channel for months. 😭

The way that production has manage this season, especially the way that they decided to allow the way who would save who, not the best idea. You lost two of the best real new champs
I think after asking a question you should say the order you want them to answer so there isn’t that awkward silence at the beginning. Also some questions that are meant for specific people should be set up to engage the other interviewees, Ed only talked at the beginning and at the end. Before asking Horacio where he’s at with Olivia, should have asked Ed his thoughts about Olivia not picking Nurys or did he believe Olivia would betray Nurys
Dump Olivia Horacio! She's no friend! The other alliance has a stronger bond /friendship then she did with Horacio
They let Nurys win, or at least Horacio did..no way he couldn't get that puzzle lol
I'm done with this season. No one left that I care about watching now. I'll tune in next season.
I hope there is a twist when Horacio or Kyland get back in
The producers wanna make sure this went down as one of the worst seasons ever by:
1 - causing the most athletic players to be eliminated
2 - highlighting the extreme ĺack of consciences by some people( Olivia )
N.B. Olivia better win especially after that betrayal!!

Couple things I hate about the new era of the challenge.
1. Fear of Eliminations
2. The very few that made it to the finals without being in the elimination used to be regarded as “tacticians, lucky, they played a great social game and more.” There used to be so many goods that came with it. Now majority I see is fear.
Remind me of when most people were not afraid of eliminations... I have been watching for 20 years and aside from the occasional noble "send me in" most people got upset about having to go into elimination.
What's changed to me is how many people have relationships outside of the challenge. So they come in with unbeatable alliances based solely on numbers. That makes it kind of boring as they pick off all the other players first.
So sad I wanted to see Horacio vs Ed in the final 😢😢
I’m sorry but ED is a follower I’m very disappointed in his performance this game following the alliance like a sheep. I had high hopes for him because he is a jack of all trades and (cute) but nah he should have done his own thing and take out Jay instead of following orders
Question for Horacio,..... do you think you would have been able to win this season had you not thrown the puzzel to let Nurys win?
Good interview, one question though: why ask Kyland and Ed about their relationship status but not Horatio about his status with Nurys, I think I've heard their still together but I would've liked to hear more.
I didn't ask because I think Nurys & Horacio are very publicly together on social media currently and also I believe she was the one driving him during this interview. So they're pretty clearly in a good place.
Plus there was limited time, and Horacio gave 3-4 minute answer on the Olivia stuff, which was great, but then limited time for follow ups.
In a full 1 on 1 interview, I would've gone deeper into his relationship with Nurys.
Well they're very publicly together on social media, they post pics and exchange comments on each others posts.
After this week eps 16 I dont even know if I want to watch after 20 yr of watching. Do not like anything about the "leftover" players. To have these 2 eliminated after puzzles, so crazy. The ones who left were my flavor to win. Oliva is so unreal. Sold out friends.. Only one left I would root for would be Emmual. But Jay and ...... have been controlling everything. Was this really a way to pick a Champion? So many Puzzles? where were the hall brawls and strength challenges, instead of the manipulation players. .......... I might just wait for 40.
I'll only root for Nurys.
Hope Ed remembers that Jay is a shameless jerk if he is in another Challenge.

He was in Exatlon another competition game but its Spanish. That was his original show before he came on the challenge.

People surprised about Olivia actions. Which I saw coming from last season. She acted so fake specially this season. This season has been the worst and I won’t watch the rest of the season bc the people I wanted to win the season aren’t there anymore. We all know nurys won’t win, knowing how scripted production is we know that a dumb alliance member will win. Out of them all I wish is Emanuel which is the only ok for me from that group.
