Living here for over 17 years. Lots of good food and great home cooking. Been hanging out a Stella’s for many years, very good friends of mine. I heard Stavros explaining the menu for the day. The wild greens need a touch of fresh lemon to add to the flavor. As for olive oil, we have our own trees on property and on the eastern end of the island. FYI EVOO's nutritional value starts to decline after about 9 months of processing. FYI you can purchase smaller home cookers for Antichristo Lamb but it takes a good bag or two to cook up the lamb but it’s worth every penny. Over here if you have an outdoor barbecue area you can add a wood fired oven, a charcoal spit for a whole lamb the Antichristo cooker. You really don’t need an indoor kitchen in the summer months.

I feel blessed to have lived in Rethymno when I was 20. Stella was already a household name at the time. Looks like I should go back someday soon. So many new places!

Hi, i just want to say thankyou. I just returned from Rethymno. I went to the bakery, Taverna Archaiaa Lappa ( obviously we had the lamb, although i highly recommend the Cretan Snails) and finally Stellas kitchen! 🥰 She was so warm and welcoming, the food was authentic and delicious and it was amazing value!! I wouldn't have found any of these places without your video

I think the best Olive Oil is from my grandfather's olive groves in stereas ellada in the mountains.
Gazoza is detived from the French wird gazeuse which means carbonated.
You find that drink all over Greece.
