    I was in a rural area in Brazil a few years ago and got bitten by a dog. Headed to a city as fast as humanly possible to get necessary treatment even though the "wound" wasn't actually visible. The doctor told me that those cases are the worst as people don't get it treated but saliva still enters. This is the most lethal virus in the world with >99% fatality rate if not treated. Dogs and cats don’t have rabies often. It’s usually wolves,coyotes,skunks,bats,raccoons,rats, and more non domesticated animals also there is only a few dogs and cats that have rabies but they’re mostly the ones that are feral and non-domesticated animals. I’ve gotten bitten and scratched by both domesticated dogs and domesticated cats many times and I can definitely confirm that I was perfectly fine after and I survived. :) Of course if I was bitten by any raccoon,rat,bat,coyote,wolf or skunk, I’d get help immediately because people don’t often know whether those animals have rabies or not whereas with dogs and cats, It’s very easy to know that they have rabies. :( Just note that domesticated animals are much more different from feral animals. So definitely always be careful out there in places with those animals especially raccoons and bats and other animals that can possibly have rabies. If possible, definitely get vaccinated for rabies beforehand to make sure that you’re vaccinated in case something happens like if you get bitten by a vicious raccoon or bat or if you get chased by a wolf or coyote and you end up getting bitten. :) I and some people that I know have experienced this and they followed all the precautions and got the vaccine and they were fine after. :) The scariest incident where I almost got bitten by an animal was when I saw a brown recluse spider and I literally screamed for my life and I was so scared I was going to get bit and get really sick from it and possibly die but luckily I didn’t and it just left through a ceiling vent. Trust me, Even though brown recluse spiders seem docile and harmless, Trust me they’re not! The same goes for wasps and hornets too and of course certain species of bees. :( I also once got stung by a wasp on my mouth on both my top lip and bottom lip and it hurted so badly and experienced a minor reaction to it. Trust me it was horrific and scary but thankfully I survived that too. Some insects can be quite very unfriendly,dangerous,venomous and/or even deadly, especially for people who are allergic to insect bites/stings. No, I am not allergic but I still did have a reaction though because of the species it was and the locations it stung me on my mouth on both my upper lip and lower lip. :( But thankfully I was okay and fine after. :)

      Where I live, rabies is non existing. Scientists dropped treats with rabies vaccine from helicopters and planes straight onto the forests. This actually worked, so we didn't have ANY rabies infection since like 20 or 30 years. There are a lot of forests here, 1/3rd of a country is forest. And we have a lot of animals walking down the streets of our cities. 🤣

    Please bear in mind that a bite to the arm is going to spread to the nervous system faster than a bite to the ankle. The wound can heal perfectly and it can, depending on entry site, can take up to six months to cause itching. Furthermore, keep in mind that animals can display dumb rabies. It will look miserable and seek help, but will not appear to be rabid in any way. The animal may scratch or lick a wound you may already have. Dumb or furious, lick, bite or scratch, you never ever take the chance. You go for the serum that day. No ifs, no buts, no maybes. Time is crucial. You don't wait for the itching, because once symptoms appear, it is far too late, and one of the most horrible deaths awaits.

      It really legitimately should be fine. For one, rabies is transmitted via body fluids, so like blood or saliva. A scratch from a nail or claw is unlikely to carry it. For another, and more importantly, rabies is a virus strictly contained to mammals. Birds and reptiles do not and cannot carry it or be infected by it.

    Rabies = The zombie apocalypse of certain rabid aggressive animals that never seems to end especially because there are so many of them all over the world and that a lot of those animals are often in groups rather than being solo animals. :( I got chased by a pack of raccoons once and I was scared at first but thankfully I got away without being bitten. And you’ll also see bats,wolves,coyotes and rats in packs too. :( Thank goodness for all the doctors and other EMT professionals all that save lives every single day all over the world! :)

      I was reading online quite a few years ago. I would say 2010 or around there and I remember reading online one time where i swear rabies did get airborne in some place or lab. I swear to holy shit I read it online and couldn’t find it again. But rabies got airborne and I think it was fast acting rabies for where it took like days compared to weeks or months or years. And they closed that shit down from spreading. I swear to holy shit.

    • @Kopeboy22
      @Kopeboy22 2 месяца назад +1

      Actually I don’t think it was fast acting rabies. But I did read one time that there was a form of rabies that was like hrs or days compared to the slow move through the nervous system. I used to be really curious and interested in rabies and I think there was a form where it was hella fast to turn into rabies and kill you. It wasn’t in the lab where it got airborne though. I’ve read both of the airborn and a fast acting rabies before.

    1 to 2 weeks after you exhibit symptoms. For those who say you can survive it, let me put it this way - Giese survived it yes, but every other time the Milwaukee protocol has been used, other than once, has always failed. If you have clinical rabies, you are going to die. In a very very unpleasant way.
