Bridear did this excellent cover last year when Arch Enemy announced their tour of Japan.

Loved that, love Bridear, saw them live in Scotland 2021 and 2022. Underatted I reckon

Yeah, great cover. Jeff Loomis is an incredible guitarist. He’s left Arch Enemy, on good terms, just pursuing own things. Hara does great growls. Arch Enemy is Hazukis favorite band. It’s interesting Kimmie growls lower then Alyssa’s, yet Haras a tad louder then Jeff’s, heh. Love Bridear, and AE.

As a reference for Wave, Arch Enemy are known as a Melodic Death Metal band and while I know the harsh vocals aren't necessarily for you, I do think you might enjoy some melodic death metal because of their melodic nature. I would say a lot of the melodic metal subgenres tend to be easier to listen to and are more beginner friendly for people who are not in the genre. Especially genres like Death Metal or Black Metal which can be very dissonant. Japanese bands seem to be going for a more melodic sound to begin with, so I am not surprised that Bridear or some of Nemophila's members are fans of a band like Arch Enemy.
As far as Bridear's harsh vocalists goes, I believe usually their bassist Haru does harsh vocals, but it's clear their main vocalist Kimi can do them as well. To be fair, I think they were the weakest part of the cover, but the Arch Enemy harsh vocalists (over time) are also really good at what they do. They certainly did a very good job on this whole cover.

Agree about the vocals being the weakest part. Kimi isn’t very comfortable singing in that style, and of course Arch Enemy have one of the best.
