Thanks for checking this out. The guitar solo is one of the greatest things I've heard. Sakura has a distinct style, with lots of minor and diminished scales, played at lightning speed. Amazing that they rebuilt so well after losing 3/5 of the band!
only SAKURA (GT) & SAYAKA (BASS) remain in current HAGANE. Mayto (GT) & UYU (Vo) left and are now in Mana Diagram. KANAKO (DRums) also left at the same time but is doing all kinds of other work for now. solo, studio session, support drum live etc) I loved Kanako, especially stand out on Wintry Sky & Black Cult for me, I really loved UYU's vocals and she really got stronger as a singer. I cannot believe they were able to pull in Junna and then find NAGI for vocals. amazing rebirth. They can cover the old stuff and the new stuff. and as far as I understand, Sakura and Sayaka retained all the rights to continue as Hagane as founders, writers, etc. I have not heard any legal issues come up so far. I love the old and new, rooting for all of them for success and musical happiness. they're all talented and refuse to get bogged down in comparing X vs Y etc they're all awesome musicians and lovely people. let's go to old and new HAGANE!! GANBATTE!
@michaelmunno. So nice to hear you speak of Uyu, Mayto, and Kanako with such affection, all of whom I continue to follow here on RUclips and X, though I'm sure you're also aware that Uyu was not the band's original frontwoman, but Chiemi, who was with the band from its inception back in 2018, appearing on the band's first demo, which includes early renditions of Brave and Wintry Sky, (both of which were re-recorded later for Episode0), only to depart the following year, subsequently to be replaced by Uyu, who I absolutely love (One of my favourite vocalists, period) Have been a loyal fan of Hagane's from the moment I first saw the Wintry Sky MV back in early 2021, with it's corresponding Mini-Album Episode0 remaining my favourite release from the band apart from Code 9021 and the new EP. While I am delighted with the additions of both Nagi and Junna, I also can't help but feel that some people are deliberately giving the previous incarnation of the band the brush in order to make a quick beeline to Hagane MK3, without in any way acknowledging the contributions of past members and not just Sakura and Sayaka, who incidentally, is not a co founding member as the band didn't have a full-time bassist at it's inception, with the line-up at the time comprised of Sakura and Mayto (Guitars) , Chiemi (Vocals), and Kanako (Drums), with only a support bassist for live gigs. Sakura and Sayaka are also busy with side projects outside of Hagane, with the former in D4DJ/EGOEGG, the latter in Inorganic Energy. With both Uyu and Mayto having since bounced back in Mana Diagram and Kanako, apart from her brief tenure with Yeti Valhalla (whose brand of Sleaze Rock I didn't really care all that much for), and support work for PaleNeo, is currently in the process of not only forming a new band, but also resume posting new covers on her RUclips channel.✌️❤️🤘
@michaelmunno. Along with Mimori from Faulieu (formerly Fleufleu), Kotaro (Doll Parts), Tohko (ex Zettai Club, now with Saiseiga), Yuri (ex Lagoon, High Che's, Bridear, now with Gacharic Spin) etc, Kanako is among the unsung drummers to come out of Japan, who are frequently overlooked in favour of more well known names, whether it be Senri Kawaguchi, Kanade Sato, Yoyoka Soma, Akane Hirose, Murata Tamu, Junna, Rina Suzuki, Haruna, Natsumi, Nagisa etc. Kanako clearly has an affection for other forms of music beyond just Rock or Metal, whether it be Swing, Jazz, Fusion, Funk, Calypso, good, not rubbish Pop, whereas Junna leans more heavily towards Metal and Hard Rock than her predecessor.

Sakura wrote most/all of Hagane's material - the songs go with her to the new Hagane...
