Started playing it. Seems fun. However, Frame rates were really not stable, which made me think its not properly optimized. Its not heavy on graphics so it doesnt make sense that it has framerate issues
What are you playing it on? After the 60fps update on PS5, it seems to run perfectly.
I see a lot of comments saying it is 30fps. It's set at 30fps fidelity mode by default but in a couple seconds you can go to settings and turn of performance mode for smooth 60fps. Very smooth on my 120hz display.
It's been patched with a 1080p 60fps, it was 4K 30fps only when it came out.
I was always confused by this game but this looks exactly like the games I fell in love with growing up. Those bright spiritual adventure titles
I've just finished it and I must say I thought it was utterly delightful.
Looks like a great match for ps+ extra.
Just finished the game so I'd say the gameplay was pretty fun. The only drawback of lack of fast travel points especially in Towns which also isn't really seen much on the map. So I tend to get lost and it forces you to explore more. Loved the characters powers. The story was really short

The Villian introduction scene left me shocked.

Had a quick blast on this before. Only 30 mins. Slow start but looks good. Good ideas but the Frame rate isn't stable. Couldn't tell you numbers but I'd assume it's lurching 45fps to 60fps.

Was a bit disappointed tbh. It seems a nice story and great idea and i love Zelda BOTW inspired games but the framerate on PS5 isnt right. It should be 60fps for me to really enjoy playing it. Hopefully a patch will come and I'll give it another go.

I just finished the game with my 6 years old daughter. Overall it was a nice game. A bit clunky with some bugs here and there. I played in fidelity mode and didn't notice that many framerate drops so I guess that the game has had some performance updates since release. Combat was probably a bit too challenging for a child but exploration was fun. The story was also maybe a bit too violent with a lot of deaths and dismemberment. Overall I recommend the game, it's obvious that a lot of passion went into it and the context is very original for once.
I have it and it's an amazing game. The game is more about exploration, physics and its story. Very relaxing game, but sadly short, but who said you should rush through it right? I'm still exploring tbh and finding new things to do. Just realized I can do Parkour the other day lol 😆
The only thing holding me back is the lack of a 60fps setting. I feel like a game with this kind of art style needs that higher frame rate to come across properly

It has a 60fps setting. Performance mode is in settings, my 120hz is outputting 60 and it's smooth. Not 120, but smooth enough.
@M did it get added in a patch? I googled it and everyone was saying it was 30fps only
@@SJC9726 yeh another commentor told me it was patched in, not there at release. Not smart to release at 30fps on ps5.
How is the performance on ps5?
I didn’t review the game, but what I played for capture showcased some frame rate stutter and the occasional bit of pop-in. But it was nothing terrible in my experience. - Aaron

Performance mode is 60fps mode in settings, it just defaults to fidelity mode for some reason.

Fidelity mode is on by default at 30fps. Go to settings and turn on performance mode for 60fps.
I'm hoping it doesn't put up too much of a challenge. It's been a while since I tried to platinum a game! I am excited.
Not much of a challenge, just 100% to platinum, but since it’s a indie game then it shouldn’t be that difficult

what a ridiculous notion. This crap about refusing to play games unless they are 60 fps is part of what is ruining gaming.
@@ggmann13 actually games being stuck with 1996 30fps frame rates in 2023 is ruining gaming. There is no reason why 60fps should not be the standard. It is objectively better and easier on the eyes. You ever try playing a shooter or a racing game at 30fps? It sucks
You know the tropical environment and rich history that all is just not something that would get me to play game. Why would I care about tropical environment of a game which I am experiencing any time in relaity
