I've been following your videos for a month; two weeks ago, I opened a POD shop on Etsy and started uploading items gradually to get the hang of it - I've added six items so far. Today, I made my first sale with a product I uploaded just yesterday. I couldn't believe it!
Thank you so much for this inspirational video Cassey, most needed today that I've been feeling kind of discourage with my process is like always something, like before was my nichs/designs and now that I finally getting better is the pricing, so many cheaper products than mine that's is making people leaving their products in their carts a significant amount of time. I meant I cant pricing my sweatshirts at 20 dollars when I don't even get it them at those prices. I don't know its can be hard at time.
I am so intimidated by personalization and group listings. This video is definitely an eye opener. My shop has just over 100 listings and I’ve been open for about a year with only 35 sales. I’ve been getting a little more views lately but, nowhere near what it would be if I can just get over that hurdle.
Great content as always! I'm curious: What's your recommendation for the ratio of non-customizable products vs customizable products vs group listings. Thank you.
Hi Cassiy, I have a question. Do you provide returns and exchanges on your print on demand apparel store? If yes, do you have the customers return the items to a 3PL facility in USA which they later discard or to the print provider? Also if you don’t offer return and exchanges and if a customer send a message that the t-shirt side doesn’t fit them, what to do in that case? I would really appreciate your response on this questions, thanks!
Cassiy when you said (around the 6 min time mark) you started doubling down from another competitor-listing on different products, colors, ect Did you start changing up your main listing on t-shirts or added different types of apparel only or did you add to completely different products like candles, ornaments and totes bags? I get confused when we get told to stay in 3-5 niches only to get data and don’t get whinny object syndrome listing on multiple products until we mastered one sort of item. Ty
Thanks for the video. Cyecked the course link and have a question. If i'd want to have a review for my store, do I need to buy the whole course or there is another way to request it?
No coaching for me just RUclips video and I am about to hit 2000 sales in 1.5 years. You just have to be consistent and add value. Do something unique that has not been done.
Hey Cassiy, thank you for everything you do! You provide so much incredible value. Quick question - In your opinion, is focussing on apparel the way to go to get to being 6 - 7 figure business?
yeah but is 3000 listings really that much with all the AI going on lately lol..mydesigns literally writes title, tags, description for me. I just gonna come up with the designs
Do you believe this? Or the poster just wants to viewers to come back again to increase bell rings. Is it possible both are in cajuts to gain subscribers? Did you notice successful stores ' images are blurred so you do not copy but yet she said she had ideas from competitors. Seeing is believing.
@gotogate26 not sure. I do put the c sign for copyright in some of my designs. She said she should see what vendors were selling and made her versions.
So many successful shop stories but never do they actually name their shop. These videos feel like glorified infomercials designed to get views, which is how they’re actually making their money.
Of course they don't, they don't want viewers coming in and copying shops item for item like so many do. It's to protect the shops in a way. And yes people definitely do this they find successful shops and copying everything, they may change a thing or two of a design but when you scroll through you will find pages of copies work.
I wish I could share success stories and share the shop but it’s just not possible without getting that shop stalked and their designs stolen. But I hope her interview provided the motivation that it’s still possible and some tips on what worked for her!
Even if you're not making it big your designs will get stolen. You, as a seller need to make peace with that because it is going to happen. It happened to me and I only have 124 sales but those sales were on 2 designs that btw were seasonal. I was upset in the beginning and contacted the stores that were copying, but soon I realized that it wasn't productive for me and was giving me a lot of anxiety. This is the main reason people don't share their stores. It is a wild world out there.
@@CassiyJohnsonexactly there are so many scammers on Etsy it's important to protect these successful shop owners that share their journeys. I'm extremely grateful for channels like yours that keep us inspired and focused on the potential shop we could have in the future, so thank you ❤
They aren't telling you their shop names because then everybody from here would go to their shop, click the listing and not buy anything, which, of course would lower their conversion rate, use up their ad spend money and get their designs copied/stolen. I'm not sure why people have such a hard time understanding this.

Vanessa is crushing it!
Hey Rich! Thanks for stopping by to say hi
Wow Vanessa, fantastic success & hard work! Congrats🎉
Vanessa! It is so cool to see one of our POD Roadmap friends on Cassiy's video. I had no idea you were that successful! Hooray for you!
after excluding etsy's transaction fees, the profit will be around 50k and that comes to be around 3000 usd per month
Great video…thank you🌸 really wish she was sharing about her ad strategy/budget too

Cassiy, I really enjoy your videos! Do you offer 1 on 1 calls for advice and shop review? Or something similar?
Cassiy, I want to say thank you first of all because I get so much value from your videos! Do you still run your mentorship group? How can one join?
Thank you Cassiy and Vanessa! I was curious if Vanessa was running Etsy ads at all?
@Cassiy do you charge the store reviews separately? or is it included in the course / coach?
Thanks for the video. Cyecked the course link and have a question. If i'd want to have a review for my store, do I need to buy the whole course or there is another way to request it?

Did she have a general store or a niche specific?
yeah but is 3000 listings really that much with all the AI going on lately lol..mydesigns literally writes title, tags, description for me. I just gonna come up with the designs
Lucky she didn't get suspended like i got yesterday, this whole thing is so sad
Whish product do you sell?
@JAOUADESSEBBARI shirts mainly
what is her shop name ?

Nice try! Successful sellers never reveal that info. For obvious reasons.
@HelmetVanga of course they blur them. It would be copycat ripoff heaven otherwise. I mean, wouldn't you??
@gotogate26 not sure. I do put the c sign for copyright in some of my designs. She said she should see what vendors were selling and made her versions.
@HelmetVanga she means you find this by using research tools. Everbee and Alura would help with this.

I would like to know the shop name ..if that's a thing y'all do? What is your shop name as well?

@ryanlafond9488 that makes sense. I didn't think of that. No reason to be a prick.
I saved this video in my 3 different folders 🫶🫶
