About your confusion regarding the characters' colors - JoJo is rather famous for its love to play with color schemes wildly - often the colors can completely change twice or even thrice during one short scene to show all the intense emotional drifts of the characters. And yes, the entirety of JoJo Golden Wind happens in Italy. Just in general, the author likes to travel a lot which really shows in his artwork.
I love that! The creativity and dynamism that the color scheme brings to the table seems amazing, also really interesting how the artist brings this cosmopolitan spirit to his/her work!

Fighting hot muscular Aztec gods with the help of cyborg nazi, snail apocalypse, and fighting a person who can turn you into a drawing on paper are only the tip of the iceberg - on top of that, the show somehow manages to be very poetic and to have really complicated messages about the power of fate and resolve of humanity. And about fashion - the author is obsessed with creative aesthetics and beauty. It's also probably one of the most "non-anime" anime shows in the world. Most parts of the show aren't even happening in Japan and when they do, it's nothing like other anime titles. Ironically enough, after watching JoJo, I started disliking 99% of the entire anime fandom really hard because JoJo improves your taste and standards drastically and makes it clear how subpar and uninspired most anime titles are.

A year late, but I'm slowly going through all your videos of the Jojo stuff. I don't know a lot about music but I love this music as a long-time fan so hearing a musician breakdown the technical aspects and techniques is really cool. Thank you! edit: Also I'm so glad you noticed the end of the song actually changed and had additional choir and change in the other versions; I'm always sad when people miss that!
in the 1st opening the "red droplets" was used as a way to know the enemy's attack which is time skip 5 seconds thats why there're suddenly more " red droplets". in the second version you can see the POV of the enemy skipping time while also looking the future events thats about to happen after said time skip. in the third opening, the enemy was about to skip but Giorno's stand succesfully evolved, turn back reality before the skip and simply.... make an infinite loop of deth of the enemy which is why there're so many of him and then the stand evolves and do the pose
Can’t wait for Heaven’s Falling Down! It might be one of my all time favorite openings and in my opinion does such a good job of ending the series. Looking forward to your opinions on it!
Golden experience requiem reverts all and any action to point zero , thats why have infinite diavolos in the entrance , and GER giorno stand its probably one of the most broken anime powers of all time , i prefer the version 2 of the song
