    Thanks for this video. In my case four led bulbs are connected with one switch and recently when I turn on pressing switch one of the bulb out four flickers. I interchanged bulbs but problem is still there. Is it holder of that bulb is faulty or something else?. I don't think, it's falling under your three reasons.

      Hi thank you for watching! There are 3 ways this could be happening. The first is like what you mentioned the sockets are faulty. It could be the connections are corroded and loose preventing full contact with the bulb. The best thing to do is just change out the socket. Second is the switch is failing like this video stated. The third is make sure that if you have a dimmer switch that your led bulb is also dimmer compatible 👍🏽😊🙏🏽

    Perfect explanation on the "POP" . I replaced a light switch, and had a couple other (same circuit) light's on and with the new switch on, when I turned on the breaker. I heard a pop and was concerned the new switch was bad, but it seems there was too much of a load when I turned on the breaker. Saved me from buying another switch. Thanks!

    I have a similar problem with multibulb fixtures in my bathroom. Installed 2 brand new 4 bulb fixtures above the medicine cabinets in our bathroom. Filled the fixtures with 8 new LED bulbs. Turn on switch and no bulbs lit in fixture closest to switch and 1 brightly lit , 3 dimly lit in the other fixture. Checked all 8 receptacles with multimeter and find correct voltage in each. How can this be?

    I hear a little pop in the switch, and a little buzz. The plugs/light in the area in house constantly go on and off randomly. Today I found out I bang a certain section in the wall it will go back on. Is it the section of the wall/wires or the switch?

    Thanks for this video. What, in your opinion, can cause smoke coming out of a light switch? (it operates an outdoor one-bulb 150W halogen light). Can it be an over-load on the switch? Thanks!

    I have a problem with my kitchen lights. There are six pot lights. When I turn “off” the light switch, I hear popping and crackling sounds. Sorry to emphasize “off” but most videos talk about sounds when lights are turned on. The switch has been replaced, but it didn’t help. Will replacing it with a commercial one fix this issue? Please help!!

    My brother bought a new light bulb for our living room, but when he installed it and tries to turn it on we suddenly heard a pop, so i told him that he should remove the light bulb right away. I saw some burnt parts on the top of the light bulb so now we're skeptical whether if we should still install this light bulb or not. Please help

      Hi, I'm not a lawyer, BUT commone sense would be that you rented the house to be in working condition and not to make repairs on the property that is not legally yours.
      Unless your contract states that you agree to make repairs as needed. (Even so you would be legally responsability for damages to the property and injuries to others it might cause.) You might check with your local City Attorney's Office. IMO.

    What would cause the two light switch wires that connect to the switch to have their coating melted or burned off?

    • @user-fh7lv2fw2p
      @user-fh7lv2fw2p 10 месяцев назад

      I know I could tell that the. Light switch cover filter. Sell extra warm to the touch. And in like your demonstration the switch was not staying all the way down. My stepson came over to replace the switch. And we discovered that the two wires no longer the protective covering over them.

    Who has 100 lights on one switch or who needs help understanding that if the switch has issues when you play with it then you should stop playing with it? :)
