I immediately knew that it was an animation made in the current era. It was too clean looking and has things that are blatantly displaying that it's being made on newer technology. But it's amazing and hilarious as hell.
I could tell it was created by Speedoru (as opposed to being a recording of an old anime) simply because I could recognize his art style. Also, among the advertisements circling the middle of the arena, there’s one for “Speedo Sausages,” a direct reference to the old name of his channel.
I just started watching this after the Saberspark viewed it on their twitch stream. I love it! I love that it's cartoon style humor combined with old school anime aesthetics. They even got Japanese VAs to voice in it.
this show was so cute i definitely got a littele confused like you but then i realized what was going on.. i cant wait for more of it, my running theory is gogos dad is the demon man from the big scene (idk i feel like that's what they were implying in the last scene)
