Got it off eBay for $180. That was a sweet deal because the price for one of these is $1,049! One of the chime hammers isn’t hitting the rod so it sounds weird. It is still in very good condition! We had to take down both the wood clock and the big black one in the middle in order to find a place for this clock. So the next clock collection update will be different.

For all viewers I just bought one of these clocks from a man no longer wanting his brand new Howard Miller clock that looks just like this clock for $70.00. Tosses in an extra five to help with his gas to meet me mid November of 2019. I saved soooo much money on this clock. It now shares a wall with five other wall clocks and two grandmother clocks

This actually happen in 1986 to Big Ben where one of the hammers never hit the bell and changed the 4 bell chime to a 3 bell chime. This is a real thing you can look it up.

This is an interesting clock aside from its Chime hammer problem. It sounds very good. I also like your Howard Miller regulator wall clock. The clock has all the chime rods, it's just one of the hammers was bent in the wrong direction but I fixed it

It's because one of the hammers was bent in the wrong direction and it wasn't hitting the chime rod
I have this clock but the hands won’t move. New batteries, pendulum moves just hands don’t keep time
