Got it from someone unexpectedly today. It needs some restoration because the door is damaged. There is some minor dust inside the mechanism but I got he Clock all cleaned and setup and is working great!
*2022 UPDATE*: I am receiving several and I mean SEVERAL comments mentioning the fact I used WD-40 on this clock in the video. I would just like to say, I sincerely apologize for this. This video is from 2018 and at the time, I was unaware that WD-40 was bad for clock movements. About a couple days after I published this video, I got a message from someone I know who is a clock repairer that said WD-40 was bad for clocks and following this, I do NOT use this on my clocks. I sincerely apologize if any of you are offended by this but please remember, at the time this vid was taken, I was unaware of this. And lastly, if you're going to still bash me about it without reading this, your comments will be ignored and deleted. No exceptions.
Also, PLEASE NOTE, as of 2022, this clock is perfectly functional and runs properly after a proper oiling and cleaning of the movement. If you watch some of my newest videos, you'll see it clearly. Additionally, the front door on this clock has also since been fixed as of September 2020.

For people saying do not use wd40, yes it is bad but as the pinned comment says that the most recent video on this clock in that video the clock is working perfectly. Also he said he has oil in the clock shop

If you listen carefully musically, the chime notes correspond to an A major scale, but the lower octave A sounds very close to a D sharp or E flat and the hour strike is an E flat major 7th chord.

I think the chime weights are installed wrong. It chimes really fast on the hour, but is very weak on the quarters. The heaviest one always goes on the right

@Clock I have a Howard Miller grandfather Clock that chimes @+3 on the hour. When it is 3PM it chimes 6 times. At 9pm it chimes 12 times. How do you fix that?
I’m not sure what the experts say, but I know some people will just move the hour hand forward three hours. But if it’s BEHIND, then it gets more tricky because in most cases you cannot move the hand backwards. So if you get 12 strikes at 9 o’clock you should be fine just moving the hour hand forward because it is ahead and not behind. Hope this helps! :)
I think you used the wrong weights for the strike and chimes. YOu used the weight for the chimes on the strike train, which is why it strikes so fast, while you used the lighter strike weight on the chime side, which is why it got stuck on St. Michaels and Whittington. There is not enough force to push that many hammers. Westminster was very slow for the same reason.
To fix the problem, swap the left and right weights. Leave the center one unmoved. Note that every weight has different masses. The one in the center should be the heaviest, the one on the right should be the second, and the one on the left should be the lightest.
When you fix it, the chimes should not get stuck and the strike should happen once every 2 seconds instead of over 3 times every 2 seconds.

In November 2019, this was the one video I found and I really enjoyed it. After watching it, I was given more videos listed in the home page of RUclips and I got into your channel a lot in 2020. By the time I got into watching your videos, I fell in love with the Colonial grandfather clock and it became my favorite clock in your collection. I also watched it so much by the time I eventually got my Pearl grandfather clock, I lost interest in the video for a bit but sometimes make comebacks to it.
After reading that WD-40's bad for clocks in the comments, I then learned that when I get more clocks as time went by to not use that stuff. To note also, YES, I did read the pinned comment. I've since then kept careful and let others know about this that that stuff's like evil towards clocks. I'm not going to talk about the WD-40 thing as that can always lead to drama, so I won't bash about that stuff.
As of 2023, I'm very happy that it managed to be restored through 2 years. Today, it'll remain my favorite clock in your collection with it having beautiful chimes, a Kieninger movement, and a fully restored door! I'm hoping one day from watching this and the future Colonial grandfather clock videos, I'll get a triple chime myself because they're very beautiful and I love the pendulum they have

Hey you might want to check the spring for the chimes as they all sound slow and looking at the fly pinion for the chime is an indicator that the spring has flexed a lot causing its elasticity to be reduced so you should get a professional to replace the spring or if you know enough about clocks, you should replace it
As of right now, this clock is working perfectly. I think it was just because I had the wrong weight on the hook.

We have a Howard miller from the 80’s it’s a triple chime and it probably cost a lot of money today since it can tell the day of the week and the day of the month as well along of course with the month

+Gavin Tse The clock has 12 chime hammers for the 12 chime rods. The 8 on the right run the chime quarters, and the 4 on the left run the strikes for the hour.

You have the weights on wrong. You always put the lightest on the left side and the heaviest one on the right side

Can some more knowledgable Horologist please answer my question:
Why does this clock appear to have three winding arbors on the dial in addition to three weights? Antique clocks are usually either key wound spring drive or weight driven... most tall long case clocks being driven by weights slowly falling on chains. Is the dual function of spring & weight necessitated on this modern unit by the large choice of selectable chiming? BTW, use of WD-40 on the movement can perhaps cause issues requiring premature overhaul.
The 3 key holes actually wind the weights and bring the weights back up to the top of the case. That is when the clock is fully wound and will be good to go for about a week. There is a crank key that comes with it that you use. I have a separate video of me winding this clock on my channel page. Feel free to check it out!

Yes they are. Although the only ridgeway grandfather clocks I've seen are chain drive westminster chime only clocks
