When I was a child I would go every week to a neighbor of mine who had lots of pendulum clocks to wined them up, it was fun . Always loved these clocks.
This is why I hate daylight saving time. Yep, I got a lot of clocks too and its a PITA to change. Well except for my impuse clocks, because they have a master clock that autocorrects them. but all else i have to adjust.

The question I asked 4 weeks ago about scratching paint on a howard miller clock face, here's what I meant. Do you scratch the paint if you put the key on the clock face accidentally or on purpose when trying to put the key in any of the keyholes?

All I did was exchange the weights. I think I had the wrong weights on the hooks. I believe I did use some clock oil as well

Westminster clock sets: put it on silent mode. It still keeps track of the hour even if it’s silent then put it back on chime and voila!
