Anyone who saw the race knows it was intentional. It was a crystal clear move of "if I can't win you can't either".
Poor guy sounds so shaken about the whole incident :c I'm not the biggest fan of Hamlin, but this tugs at my heart strings.

Looking back on this, both of them are in the wrong. Joey is in the wrong because he was on record saying that he intended to wreck Denny. In my mind, Joey probably didn’t mean for him to come out of the wreck with a broken spine but was meaning to spin him because of what he said at Bristol the week before in which Hamlin said that Logano was coming for him and that he barely sees him up there so it’s not a problem. Which leads me to Denny. Before and after this incident, he has had altercations with a whole host of drivers. Him and Montoya, him and Kyle Petty, him and Chase Elliott all had feuds after 2013 and before this, Kevin Harvick retaliated against him at Dover because he falsely accused Richard Childress Racing of cheating all year long. Joey has no right to say that Hamlin deserved to get injured, in fact I think trying to wreck Denny is smart because he’s racing with a points system that prioritizes winning above all else (which is why Denny won’t win a title. Because he’s not as aggressive as Joey) but Denny didn’t give himself any good will with what happened at Bristol.

You don't have a right to tell anyone they should get injured. Period. And any veteran always waited for a short track, because of the dangers at a track like this. There is no fault here from Hamlin. He ran a clean race and was trying to go side by side for the win. Logano didn't care. It's why the garage has no respect for that punk. Kenseth tried to teach him a lesson, but it didn't register. I'm not saying Denny isn't at fault for all the other racing you mentioned, but he doesn't deserve to have his back broken because of an idiot.

Denny got hurt for 2 reasons: Joey Logano and NASCAR. Joey Logano because he wrecked him on purpose and NASCAR because they didn't have safer barriers there.
I wouldn’t put NASCAR at fault completely. I put all of the blame on Logano because he did not take responsibility for what he did there. And not only that he lost all of Tony Stewart’s respect in the same race as well. This incident caused Tony to have a grudge against Joey. It is clear as day that he deliberately tried to hurt Denny. Honestly Logano is worse than Ernie Irvin, period. People said that Irvan was a dirty driver, not to the degree of Logano no. Logano races with no respect. Even in 2022 he races with no respect
And he gets championships as a result.
The guys were right, there is no respect in the modern NASCAR garage.

Logano should have been banned or atleast a full year suspension from NASCAR for this. You don't payback guys at high speed tracks. This is why. He Broke Denny's Back. Period. It's disgusting that NASCAR let's guys like Logano keep racing.
Keep this on a short track, this potentially ruined Denny's chances at ever getting a Championship.

The problem here is two separate interviews it was intentional. He kept pushing and leaning into the 11 at 195 MPH. If you want to pay Denny back at the next short track or mile track, go for it. But anyone who thinks it's okay to do that at those speeds, it could've easily ended Hamlin's career. It's easy to say the next day, knowing how serious the injury was that it wasn't intentional. We see it year after year with Logano. Yeah, he's a nice guy out of the car, but he doesn't care when he's in it. The guy has no respect for anyone.

Joey didn't do it intentional because if he did then he wouldn't wreck himself on the last lap. He would have hit the quarter panel not the door. Joey was trying to move him up the track and into the wall the same that Kurt Busch dod to Ricky Craven.

+Douglas Kenney I'm sure Logano had some bad blood from the week prior. Don't forget: Hamlin wrecked Logano a week before. Not that it makes everything okay for Joey to wreck Hamlin on a track as big and fast as ACS, but if I was the boss of either driver, I would've fired whichever driver I was the boss of if they had just played Mr. Nice Guy and weren't trying to win. I would've done the same thing regardless of who I was racing, and what history I may/may not have w/ them. Joey Logano was trying to win. He might've said some things that were harsh, but I still don't think he meant to wreck Hamlin on purpose. Logano was just trying to beat the guy who dumped him and insulted him the week before, and it got ugly.
What video did you see of the wreck? Hamlin was below him on the track. For him to have been moving Hamlin up the track would have been certain wreck for Logano. Which is why Logano wrecked as well. Hamlin slid up in front of him after the contact.

When you wreck someone at Bristol and mock them in the interview consequences may happen. If what logano did at 200 mph is Fair or Foul doesn't really matter. Hamlin has a broken back because his Bristol actions and his interview the race prior. That’s 50% on him. It takes two people to start a feud.

Denny Hamlin is overhyped as fuck. He always gets into it with everyone and nothing every comes of it. Yeah he gives nascar sound bites and can talk good smack but every week he never wins runs middle of the pack and always bitches about the exact same shit he does.
