Thank you for loving this classic American legend! The '70 Vette is my all time favorite!
THATS A BIG BLOCK CORVETTE, someone really didn't know what they had with this car🤦♂️ What a sweet ride!
CRIMINAL FOR THE OWNER TO ET IT ROT
I know it sucks that it laid in a state of neglect but ya gotta pay mind to the times. When gas went nuts in the '75, these cars werent worth nothing. It probably didnt make it to the scrapper because of the fiberglass body. Im just greatful its still around and hope that it ends up being owned by anyone other than a collector or museum.
@@32degreesretarded62 dude it sat since 2004" clearly was used since 75..
They had a hugh fucking gas bill

It's so satisfying to see classics getting cleaned...too cool.
FANTASTIC. This is what you get with determination hard work. And BURNING THE CANDLE FROM BOTH ENDS . A REAL CAR IS BORN AGAIN.♥️👍.
It really upsets me that people do this to some rare cars!!!! I am grateful for guys like you who bring them back from the dead..I really enjoy watching this
Yeah criminal to let the car rots like this. First year no gober optics and no 4ear window removal
the difference of it from start to finish is absolutely insane!!!! wicked job on bringing back an iconic piece of muscle car history back to life
Polish it, touch it up, go through the mechanicals and drive it! Love the patina. Everything doesn't have to be perfect and restored. Then it's like walking around in a white suit. That car has character!
What a great contribution you make to the world as these classic cars are part of our history and the quality that went into these cars is fantastic, atention detail is sensational
It just shows how a little hard work and attention to detail can take a forgotten car and turn it into someone's pride and joy
Love the early C3 Vettes. You definitely made it look more presentable. Hopefully someone will do a restoration and bring it back to its former glory.
I will never understand why cars like this gem are left to rot in the first place.Great work lads! Its just about back on the showroom floor.Well done👍
That's easy, they don't want to sell them because they are emotionally attached but regrettably that part of their life is over or it is not once again time. Then one of the married couple dies. The remaining partner has not the expertise to maintain the car but now they have an emotional attachment to the car whom the deceased owner loved so much. Then they die and the kids have no clue what has been left behind. There lives are on the treadmill of life. So the car sits and sits with all those memories trapped inside.
Congratulations on this huge renovation job! Hats off to you who have shown a lot of patience, perseverance, passion and love for a job well done.
I own a 78 corvette. Raising a family is one of the reasons not having the time to really work on it. Days turn to months months to years. This 424 tho it’s beautiful.
You did an incredible job you deserve an award that doesn't even look like the same car that's how talented you are.
Wow.... Just briliant! ❤️
Just a small tip that I found works well. Paint that sits outside expanding and contracting is easier to clean if you use a steamer slightly to expand the paint then scrub it. It will help get those permanent type stuff from the moss and it will mostly come off. Good job with the detail
Ammo NYC viewer??
Yup. Larry from Ammo just shared the same advice not long ago on his channel.
@@Sankey369 yes haha I was thinking on the white Porsche vid
Very well done! Wow! Thank you so much for rescuing this beauty! So sad someone would let an amazing machine like this rot outside.
Respect for one of America's sports cars. Beautiful job on this Stingray!
🇺🇸👍
Who on this earth would let this beast, just as much or more beautiful than a Ford Cobra, sit, is beyond any belief. These early C3s especially big blocks are iconic and will and are rising in prices. Very desirable.🇺🇸👍
Detail is an understatement, this was a mini restoration. Good job like always
Giving the saying polishing a turd a entirely new meaning , that thing turned out pretty good
My neighbor almost has the same exact car except his is red with side pipes. But it is a big block with a four-speed.
He is basically letting the car rot away and his driveway. People are always knocking on his door wanting to buy the car and he won't sell it.
And 16 years he's painted the car twice. That's what he does for a living except he repairs and paints big trucks tractors and such.
He gets excited about getting the car out and driving and we even hit Corvette events so he could buy things that's missing. All he does with all the stuff just put it either in the trunk of the car or in his garage where they will never be found again.
You really did a hell of a job on this car. You did scared of living hell out of me when you started talking in the middle of power washing about the door not shutting it again. It just took me by surprise that you started speaking.
I hope the owner of this car appreciate what he has. I hope he does not let it sit again and rot away. Cars like this are not meant to sit in a driveway or under a tree.
Great job, not too many people are capable of doing such a great detail cleaning, AWESOME
Owner is a idiot
@@paulgrimm You are an idiot?
@@maguslloretmunoz2354 The owner that left that Vet out to rot is a idiot
@@paulgrimm Aha, ok
One million thumbs up aren't enough for you on this Corvette! Good work.
Oi amigo, tenho um canal de carros e motos antigos e restauração em casa, se você gostar se inscreva lá, abraço
These corvettes always had such elegant and masculine interiors
very satisfying to watch thank you
I hope whoever owns it does a full restoration. You can see the beauty of this car. The color reminds me of Belle's (Beauty and the Beast) gown. Like she's waiting to be the belle of the ball! Great job!
🇺🇸👍
@@truebetold65 yup! good project!
I'd like to see the long hood go away and a proper domed hood and wiper door go on.
This reminds me of my 68 427 car in my Icon :)
Someone will. It is a diamond in the rough, and this video shows great progress!!!
Those 70 LS5 Vettes are rare! Amazing job as usual! Awesome content!!
_If it's the 390 horse engine with 500 ft. lbs. of mind-blowing torque, not exactly(4,473 made for '70). Yet the earlier C3s, notably the 1970 model is a very collectible car in any engine guise, to say the very least. Agreed, great Corvette content._
Oi amigo, tenho um canal de carros e motos antigos e restauração em casa, se você gostar se inscreva lá, abraço
Think The 1970 LS5 454/390 Is Rare? Sheesh! How About The 1970 LS7 454/460??
HELL YES I SAID 460 HORSEPOWER!!
Car cleaned up so nice!
Would love to see the restore video on this. Thank you so much for stopping the decay. I assume this will be a full off the frame restoration and that the numbers match on the engine? There really are no words for the work you’re done here. I don’t think anyone who appreciates these cars can thank you enough. Looking forward to the first start. I spoke to soon, that baby does run. How sweet!!!
Betting there’s rot through the birdcage judging by condition of the rest of the car. Arguably not worth saving given the cost of repair unfortunately.
@Greg Cummings Not sure what you mean by bird cage. Although I appreciate the hard work by the detailer, I think all the effort on the exterior aside from cleaning is a total waste. Is anyone not going to notice huge paint chips on the hood, etc. Car needs to be stripped and repainted, given its value I would guess this is headed to paint shop soon so why waste effort on a finish that is going to be stripped? As far as engine, it would be interesting to see if with fluid changes and a tune up if car would move. An educated guess is brakes and steering likely not safe to drive, not to mention frame could be severely damaged by rust.
That said I am guessing this cleaning added thousands to value of car as it is sitting, especially if it could be driven. Thanks for posting.
First off. Nice work on the Vette. Had to be bitter sweet seeing its before and after state knowing what 'could have been' had they taken just a little bit of care of it.
Rescued a farm field stored Suburban (99) from WA. What a mess but, fortunately, nothing like this one. After removing carpet, treated the floor pan inside and out for rust finalizing with POR-15 which I used after addressing all the rust issues on the body and doors, replacing fenders etc. Spot paint until I was ready for an entire spray job. New Carpet as well. Sometimes you just have to say 'when.'
Came out real nice until T-Boned by a red light runner....RIP
You did your best with what you were given!
Wow What a find and what a beautiful restoration. Thanks.

i love that you bring old...
Love the finish, looks great considering what you worked with.
I do really like the presentation of showing the before and after for each part you did at the end. Really shows the difference you made in lieu of showing all dirty pics then all the clean ones.

You did a great job bringing it back to that nice 👍 at least now it looks like a daily driver instead of a yard ornament!
Ahhh...a yellow Corvette. The OEM paint would get chalky and "bumpy" even with regular washings. High maint. color. I am amazed with how much pigment was left in the one you detailed. It had to have been a repaint.
I had the weirdest optioned corvette [safari yellow, comparable to the car you did] ever. It was a 1968 convertible. Base engine, A/C, power windows, AM/FM stereo, tilt/tele column, tinted glass, power brakes and steering, wheel covers, and alarm. I think there were a few factory doodads I am unable to recall. All of these options, backed by a THREE SPEED MANUAL!! From the factory, that was the base transmission. The base engine was a 327/300 HP. It was so equipped. All 4-gears and the turbohydramatics were options!
Nice job, considering what you had to work with. You do good work!
I am a Vette guy. Love the C-3 body . Had a 69 and a 76 Love seeing this. My 1996 has nothing on these. Saw the tag. Washington State. Thank you for saving her! And thank you for sharing
INCREDIBLE work.
I had a Corvette just like that only a convertible. Brings back some great memories. Nice job on the cleaning.
I have been a detail man for over 20 years great job 👍
Best detailer on RUclips
That’s a gem!
yes I'm enjoy it so much thank you sir for make us happy
What else can I say , great job !!
Amazing job! So cool to see this old muscle car restored!
Idk why I found this type of videos so satisfying to watch! Very cool guys

SO Well |Done.. HUGE improvement
Another great job. Beautiful Vette!
This (detail) more like resto was amazing you really brought it back to life good job
Oh dam. Love that car. Imagine what you could do with that big block with today's tech. Big big power.
You’re the only RUclips detailed I’ve seen so far that uses compressed air on the interior and I want to say thank you lol. Crevices are not going to come clean with a steamer and a rag compressed air makes the whole job so much easier

My favorite vette of all time.
"Chairs", that made me smile.
Thanks for bringing another beautiful C3 back to life.
Nice job but typical of old paint to do what it did.
I stripped my 74 C3 down to bare glass and repaired the bonding seams then gel coated to seal the fiberglass before repainting it. They are beautiful cars because they had style.
Car today all look the same to me, just different names on them.
Nice job , hope this gives the owner motivation to do a restore .
U guys did great job so detail clean, 🎉🎉🎉
Hi MAD DETAILS I love your channel and I love all of your car detailing videos and I love your music:)

Very nice job cleaning her up!! Thanks. Moss/lichen is just a way of life in western Washington. When we lived in the Seattle area you'd see it on roofs, sheep and almost anything that sat outside.
It is sad that it was left out to get to this condition.
One of my All Time Favourite Cars!!! 🤩🤩🤩
And you did a Great Job on it!!! 😎
Nice work. Thanks for using the cleaner glaze on it. Not many 454's around these days, and a 4 speed to boot.

I'm watching this for the 5th time now...still amazed
It looks perfect to me, every car has a story
If mad details do a work then there is no body works left superb bro❤❤
I love the corvette yellow and it looks great on that car
Nice save :). We also have a 1970 corvette. blue exterior, blue interior with a white rag top. They are sweet cars :) It was sad that they left the poor thing out side, but if they didn't you wouldn't have it :).
Nice job, considering what you started with. They don't build these cars anymore, it's sad that this one was left in such a sad shape. You really did a awesome job getting it all cleaned out. 👍👍👍👍👍👍😉🇺🇸
👍🇺🇸
Excellent work! It's hard to believe it's the same car! That fresh carpet did wonders for the interior!
Tremendous video :)
I saw a yellow stingray at a classic car show in my area few years ago. These cars are just stunning.
And wow...a growing lawn in a car. That's crazy!

The E in the corvette badge was the perfect addition to this no detail left untouched restoration!
Looks like shit..
Wow 💥👍..!! That Vette is still original.. please let it stay that way.. love the C3 gen..
Great video, enjoyed it from start to finish. What a great job cleaning it up. These cars are a classic, you definitely brought it back from the dead. So impressive. I live in Australia and have two C3 Corvettes, a 75 manual and a 77 Automatic. A real unique shape and style.
tu as redonne une nouvelle jeunesse a cette corvette, felicitations
Very beautiful looking corvette too!!!
What a nice find!
This is such a Stunning car. You did great on detailing inside and out. It looks like in between 350 to 400 hp, on a 454 engine, awesome. Nice seeing muscle car being revived.
There are just no words what you did on this car.
Como alguém deixa um ícone destes ficar neste estado!!1 Relaxado total.

This car was badly neglected so sad but you brought it back and it looks awesome I would proudly park it in my driveway nice car good job 👏
Siiiiiiick sirrrr hot lil corvette boiiiii killed it.
I like the care you showed while restoring this car.
You did a fantastic work with the car. Thanks for sharing! Can´t help wondering how the owner could neglect this beautiful car like this...
Great work!!! That color really pops now! That little bit of touch up paint made a lot of difference.
I remember being in spokane in 1970 and seeing a 'vette just like this in a used car lot. Being 14 I just had to go sit in it. Same color, only had an automatic. It was sweet!
You are a magician! wow! amazing job 👌👏
AWESOME transformation!!!
So satisfying
I was surprised the floors looked so good and even the factory markings from the factory under the carpet when you pulled the trunk liker out, great find!

Amazing transformation! Great job to you and your brother.
What an amazing transformation. A real nice job touching up the worn paint areas.

A detailing masterpiece! Beautiful!
Great results. Classic C3 chrome bumper cars with big blocks & 4 speeds are getting scarcer & pricey. Hope the complete restoration turns out as nice, because these cars are definitely worth saving.
Perfect transformation! I would just driver the car like this.

Looks great
Como pode deixar uma jóia linda dessa parada belo trabalho salvou o carro 🇧🇷🇧🇷👍👍
Having grown up in Seattle I know from first hand experience that it is perpetually damp up there. Nothing ever fully dries out and moss and algae are everywhere. Such a shame that this classic was left out in those elements but this is what you can expect up there. You did a great job cleaning it up but I agree that a full restoration and repaint would be in order.
Really great job 👍
car came out superb
Whoever let this happen to classic like this is just criminal.
