Iceborne on PC, I had these footages on ps4 but I wanted the nice hd textures for mama babish and she deserves better, due to popular demand from my other video I went ahead and redid it meaning I HAD TO PLAY THE GAME OVER from the start to get the other footages before going to Iceborne with my main, unless they add more or new scenes this is it, I also added some extra for you guys lol

Monster Hunter World really is the only game that shows you nothing can ever stop you from cooking a good dinner, not even the apocalypse
Humans have been cooking complex meals for at least 10000 years, if not many more
It's gonna take a lot more than a measly apocalypse to separate us from our salt, pepper, and Dutch ovens.
There's one missing where in the end of iceborne, the Grammeowster is being fed soup by her pupil, the Meowscular chef, and she shakes her head at him and he looks away like "hmph. It's good to me".

You really gotta wonder about the kind of stomach and metabolism an average hunter has to both eat all that food and burn off enough to stay in shape
I know plenty of small petite chicks who can eat something like that, like black holes they just keep eating
An average hunt probably burns a lot of calories, if you think about it. For example, you begin by hanging onto a flying creature for dear life via a rope, meaning you need to lift your weight and the weight of your armor for as long as the trip takes you, which can be a minute or two for the starter area but upwards of 30 minutes for the regions farther away from the Astera base camp. Once you reach the secondary camp, you could rest for a bit, but then it's running and jumping and tumbling and diving and swinging a massive sword around, attempting to subdue a giant beast that, without that preparation, will kill you dead.
Don't forget the average hunter is a super human by our standards.
They have higher bone density
More muscle mass
Superior strength
Endurance
Agility
And the like
So it makes sence their bodies would require far far more calories to sustain such a lifestyle

I like to imagine that the Hunter sits down an absolutely normal level of hungry, but gets absolutely famished just smelling the cooking while they wait, and the cooks know this and prepare a giant meal by default, even when they just ask for something light.
I also like how, unlike the ninja master cook, who only ever seems to add the final touch, the Grandmeowster is visibly involved in EVERY SINGLE STEP of the cooking. It is clear she cares about what she's doing and her customer's enjoyment above all else and will see to it PERSONALLY that your meal is perfect.
To be fair to Meowscular, he does take a more active role when you get the canteen maxed out.
Personally, I thought that due to the monsters the Hunters fight and the weapons they use to fight them, that's an adequate amount of food you can eat before or after a meal.
Most athletes eat that much to maintain their physiques, and anime characters eat a lot normally, too.
@@ryanleatigaga7596 Not to mention, in Iceborne in particular, the Hunters are in cold areas a lot of the time. People in colder areas tend to eat more because a lot of the calories they eat go towards staying warm, i.e. generating enough body heat to keep functioning
I love how the Felynes are always so genuinely happy when they present you the food at the end. Same how they make those little dances in Rise and Sunbreak when they serve you the Dangos.

I usually skip the canteen cutscenes to save me time, but whenever I eat at Seliana, I NEVER skip grandmeowster and her cooking, as it's the most wholesome cooking cutscene in the game, and it is too good to be skipped. Long live meowbushka.

The design on that grandma cat is really well-made. You can really feel that "fluffy grandma that gives you snacks everytime she sees you" vibe.
This is so freakin wholesome. I don’t play these games, I have no idea how these hunters pay the cats who work so hard to cook their food, I HOPE they get a lot of money for it, but man,, watching the hunters devour the entire thing is certainly wholesome. Ironically, the least table manners are the most polite

ah, well, expeditions out to hunt pay a currency, and yeah, that currency goes towards the food. But there's also special meal ticket vouchers. These vouchers essentially pay for every meal for every hunter for a short time, and the highest quality ingredients get pulled out. Those meal ticket vouchers are very rare.
This one's a bit unique given the circumstances of Monster Hunter World, but I'm operating under the assumption the cats are paid.
According to the older games, Felynes get paid AND they get free four meals a day.
The deal is so good even humans want to work in the canteens too.
We always paid money to the cats whenever we ate, it's just so microscopic compared to the bounty we earn that most players forget the fees exist.
We kinda enslaved them with catnip and dole it out as their payment lest they go into withdrawal

Monster: Yo, this is really good.
Here’s what amazes me about these cut scenes. One, they are visually appealing. Come on this game looks gorgeous. Number two. It’s physically believable. Every actions that the cats and people make preparing the meals Makes sense and looks great in a video game setting. And I love the attention to detail. From the roasting of the meat to the steam to the bubbling of the cheese, The understanding of how the materials of food and the cooking of food works is remarkable really. And tying it all together everything feels extremely homey and wholesome which makes it that much better
They even added the small detail that when the hunter tries to eat the stewed beef, the meat slides off of the bone a bit

@@pinkponypuppy9586 In World, you can just explore the map. Although there are small areas where Monsters can go and you can't. Same is true for the other games (although in the older ones you do need to be on a quest to do so, but you can just avoid the monsters/run from them, and just not do the quest). So yeah, you can feel very at home in all of the Monster Hunter Games, which i think is nice.
I watched this a lot after i was let out of the hospital, it somehow helped me a lot when i was hungry for foods too heavy for my stomach, thank you Monster Hunter

I just love Grammeowster Chef (Her actual name on the wiki) I think she would be the kind of person that no matter what background you came from, You're always welcomed in her canteen and will cook you a fresh meal because she wants to make everyone feel welcomed. Fun fact Grammeowster Chef Is the mentor of Meowcuslar Chef, The Chef from before with the one eye
The Grandmoewster is so cute, lovely, motherly and grandmotherly. She is the type of grandma to feed her grandkids alot and then feed them again until their full, she puts so much love and care into her meals it's just too cute

You don't get to see them cook the glorious meal in front of you. Cats irl: eat the meat before even cooked
There's actually one cutscene you're missing. For the boiler, when you don't have the Handler the alternative Hunter has her own scene. IIRC, she tries to help stop it from going haywire, like a responsible person.
The granny cat makes me want to play this game even more...

Every time I go to one of these places, I watch the cutscene. The food they make looks absolutely delicious, and I truly wish that we had monsters and monster hunters in our world so that I could experience cooking with monster ingredients.
Some of these foods can be cooked in real life, you just need enough skill and motivation to do it
