First tune that caught my ear from It Bites. Knew they were a cut above the popsters at the time. And Frank can still reproduce a studio quality version at a gig in his old town. Brilliant.
I think because they’re Albums sound crap unless you’ve got a £5000 HiFi. ( even re mastered ) . The band started to fall apart quite early . And popular music changed into Grunge and then Britpop/Indie. Probably signing to Virgin was a huge mistake. Even though they were presumably given vast sums of money to record.
Always puzzled as to why this hasn't popped up in an Avengers or X Men movie?! It's the perfect song for an 'Avengers Assemble!!!' moment And would open a whole new legion of ears to not only a superb song but a hugely underated band as well. Film bosses take note!

The impeccable note-perfect solo, then the moment where he hitches his pants back into place. Top geezer!
Never understood why this band never went on to bigger things, I thought they were brilliant!

Brilliant live version this kicks ass nice one Francis
What's happened to the 16ths on the hi hat? Doesn't work as well with quarter notes.
Saw him last night Wolverhampton. Most enjoyable. I feel the batton can be passed from Jeff Beck to Francis Dunnery.
Check out my other uploads from last night
Weird comparison. Two awesome guitarists, but totally different. Love ‘em both, but requiring of different batons, methinks…
Wow - talented man like Francis Dunnery performing to a few people. Tragic
Agree. But it was his home town for charity.
Seeing them tonight in Manchester. .
What’s the drummer doin???
Agreed
