Looking good 👍 That's exactly what I want to do with mine. Not that color. But the idea. I'm thinking battle ship grey and black. Or white with black Lol
Looks great! I’ve been riding mine hard off road In Alaska and the body takes a beating. The factory finish is getting a whole new woodland camouflage pattern from actual woodland!!! I like what you are doing. I may have to do the same before too long. I’ll subscribe and see what else comes up in part 2.
Nice work!! Thanks so much for the video! I have my m1151 slant back in the garage waiting to be Monstalinered. Im going black. Im kinda scared… so your videos really help!
@@Kevin24Seven Well...for sure Army (branch I was in)...I am thinking Marines would have empty crayon boxes and half eaten crayons all over the place! 😁
Hey Q about the Monstaliner - how smooth and easy to clean is it? That tan looks a lot like the military tan, way cool. I may be getting an 1165 and interested in Monstaliner
Not sure on that as I have not had to clean it yet, however the texture is a whole lot smoother than most bedliners and it could be cleaned with a rag for sure.
@@Kevin24Seven I've started Monstalining and I'll go through 2 gallons for the hood, body, and parts. I have a soft top, no doors (yet), and no slant back so probably why you used more. Thanks for you vids. Helped me out a lot.
You guys did a great job on that, turned out really good! Way easier than spraying 😂
For sure and thank you! I hate spraying lol.

I think either of those choices would look great!

For sure! I can tell you my Jeep YJ has the same stuff and its nothing short of incredible. Its been through a lot and holds on somehow.

I plan on using the doors I had bought earlier on from Federal Military Parts but first I will need to Monstaline those as well

Thanks and good luck!
What kind of spray primer did you apply before the 1st coat?
Check out durabak bedliner great stuff
THIS STUFF LASTS LONGER WHEN ITS ROLLED ON. GOOD JOB
I rewatched both your Monstaliner videos and I missed - how many gallons did it take? Specifically the interior of the truck?? I’m doing mine soon!!
Nice job! Now you just need spit cups and empty dip cans everywhere and you will be pretty near authentic! lol
I'm guessing this is a Marine Corps thing but legitimately have no idea lmao.

@@chrisaustin612 Hahaha it is a USMC Humvee and I think I did find a few half-eaten ones stashed under the passenger seat

Awesome...

Why does your humvee look so small in size???..what variant is it, cause i kind looking if they make small humvees.😅
What monstaliner color did you use?
There’s looks to be a few that could be close to the desert tan.
It's just the standard desert tan they sell
"Desert sand" is the official name on the can
Please help me with What kind paint brand and paint code ? And tools you used
Great
Hey kevin what was the paint code you got for the tan going to be doing the same please let me know.
If you go to the Monstaliner site, it's called "Desert Sand"
How many gallons did it take to complete the body paint?
Truthfully I don't remember, but its more than you would think. I want to say at least 3 or 4- that is for inside and out.
