I hope you enjoyed the new episode! I was not expecting the last episode to get that level of attention, that was crazy. I am not an animator by trade and this series has become a learning experience for me, and a way to contribute to the TF2 community. We rlly need more 2D animators lol Making something this length took a big toll on my schedule (I am a single person, not a group!) I'd Like to have longer animations going forward so expect gaps between uploads! If you have any questions about the series going forward, ask me below. I will try and answer as many as possible. (No big spoilers, of course.)
I like how Scout's obsession with chicken is explained in this with his mum being good at cooking chicken, and probably cooking it a lot in his childhood. Which means he eats chicken in these animations because it reminds him of his mum :)
The fact that she nearly cries when she realizes the baby seat is from when Scout was a baby is adorable- she really loves him to death doesn't she, hehe.
Thats the Red Spy and Scouts clothes are Red. Hes clearly Red Scout. Since no one says stuff your supposed to look for things IMPLIED that hes in Red or Blu. So color is important.
I love how Scout actually acts like a parent, and that he will do anything for little pootis! And I can tell, about how much that Scout's mother, is proud of him! ❤️✨
Scout also probably doesn’t want a history loop to start, him and his brothers were in Boston and scout always had to run away if he didn’t want to get knocked out. His dad was a deadbeat and he didn’t always get the best parenting. He got his speed from running away from his brothers. He lived a rough life.

Very few people can reach that level of emotion without any words. And Tom Jones' face taped over Spy's picture, the discontinued Saxxies and "Jeremy" written on the back of the baby chair were such nice details!
It's legitimately touching to see how Scout is trying his very best to care for Pootis, and how he's going to go at extreme lengths just to make his baby boy happy. Jeremy is best mom!
This almost made me tear up BCUZ I dont have a real grandmother, my mom was adopted by her and she treated her badly and she treats me bad too, sure she gives me food sometimes, but sometimes it's really not good for me and I cant eat it and she cusses at me, and gets pissed at me, and never does any fun activities with me or my brothers, she always stays in one room watching tv, and yeah shes old (like about to be 80) but even before that she was never a really good grandma, she was pretty bad, I dont like my grandma, shes traumatized me like, she would scare me or make me so uncomfy like I remember I licked my face and omg I went straight to the bathroom to soap my face for AN HOUR, she would come close to me and scare me a bunch of times, and she would lie when I was younger like *I put mucus in your cereal* so I ABSOLUTELY didnt want it anymore, but I felt so bad that she made it I just ate it with cringe, I knew she probably didnt mean it but, it felt like she took advantage of my pity. I really wish I had a grandma like scouts.

I checked on the news. And I found that the Medimedes was recalled for being "too dangerous" to be a toy. But it's so kind that Scout literally breaks the law to get Pootis the friend he's always wanted.
1) Greyman's Granddaughter (Correct me if I'm wrong) making an appearance is a great detail. 2) Spy must have had the dead ringer equipped, because he didn't just turn invisible to escape.
well he obviously didnt have anything on him, because if he did, you could have punched himself to go invis, or used the disguise kit to disguise as an object under the bed
Suggestion; Pootis bird meets heavy. I'd love to see the heavy interacting with the little guy and giving them a tiny little gun to treat like sasha or teaching it how to do the kazotsky kick. Heavy is a dad after all.
I love all of the attention to details and little easter eggs and hidden little things in the backgrounds. Plus, the fact this was all done by one person is very impressive and merits being proud. 10/10. Strand-type animation mastahpeez.

Ok let me think… So Medic Bird exists. Spycrabs exist as well. I think Soldier has an eagle cosmetic or something. One of the classes has an owl or something. There’s a few others. I have a theory where the toys that represent classes either like or don’t like each other based off of which class counters which in game. For instance, Spycrabs like to bully Pootis. Medic Bird is either going to be very evil for like a plot twist or very nice to basically everybody.
Love Scout’s Mom, love the OG Roblox SFX, love the Mario Strikers Charged Menu theme as the Toy Store music, love how the employee is the girl from Expiration date, and everything in between! This has to be the best one so far, great job and hope to see more!

Well he couldn't use it because it tends to make a sound upon usage, plus it takes time for it to turn him invisible instead of an instant. It also depends on what type of invis he has too, and if scout stayed a bit longer it would've worn off and make the appearing sound too. Sooooo...no using
I can already see medimedes being a malfunctioning toy which might end up attacking pootis and scout. So I hope that one medimedes will somehow actually fix itself after some trouble, becoming pootis’ best friend.

Keeping a REAL bird in a box is going to kill him unless the box is ventilated, usually through holes, which the box DID NOT have. Plus again have you ever bought a dog? A cat? A bird? Well they weren’t in boxes in the toy section of a store, were they? No, they were in a shelter. Pootis is most likely an advanced toy/plush, wether you like it or not

I wouldn't call selling live animals in boxes impossible. Plus, Putis has organs and needs to eat. Medic isn't as crazy to care about toy's diet.
These are really connected to the lore, like scout in his room has a pic of his and brothers, Ton Jones taped on insted of spy on the family pic, its the lil' things man
The fact that even after the 10+ time I've watched this video fully, I'm still I'm still super happy and laughing and still hit hard with that beautiful scene at the end, is just a huge testimant to how gifted Quazies is. These pootis animations have developed a near and dear place in my heart. And I loved the jerma ones too lol, but pootis is so damn perfect.
This series is a gift that keeps on giving. One aspect I really find myself enjoying more and more as I go and rewatch it over and over again is the sound design. The explosion when Pootis throws the paprika, the Alphys dialogue noises over the news broadcast, and all the little sound effects are so great. Plus the music! I love that the toy store has this elevator music vibe. And by far my favorite use of a song in this show is the Avatar Love theme at the end with Pootis looking out the window. I might be too emotional, but it makes me tear up everytime. It fits so perfectly and recontextualizes the theme for Pootis' loneliness so well. Scout's Ma putting the blanket on him is just the icing on the cake. This series is really good, and you do an excellent job with it. I'm really thankful it exists.
I feel like the medimedes is probably gonna kill everyone, medic already is (in the main game) the personification of a megalomaniac, and every single episode shows the medimedes as something like a monster created by accident who needs to be contained at any cost, i'm just gonna wait
it's incredible to try on animations to make an effort so detailed I feel like I have returned my childhood, but I wish success much better. May life give you more bright moments and all your wildest and most cherished desires come true! I wish that happiness and understanding always reign in your home. i love everything about this series. The art, de history, the amount of details, pootis, everything. i hope you continue making these episodes because me and the everyone who watches this loves it
I wonder how Valve feels about this. I mean its even well grounded in terms of the TF2 universe, not lore speaking, but when it comes to characters and TF2 items. Mann Co, scout is still Jeremy, scouts mom is still scouts mom and her lover is Spy. I really like that this doesnt stray away from any of those things.
Funny story: the other day at the wonderful high school I go to, I was sitting outside for lunch with my best friend. We were talking about random stuff till it all lead to our conversation about TF2. I don't even clearly remember how it started, I just know it had to do with the kind of convos Spy and Scout would have without anyone around. One of them was particularly talking about how Spy would know about Scout's secrets when he was age 10, regardless of the fact he wasn't around. I remember blurting out, without missing a beat, "You don't know about the times I visited your mother at night". We went to class laughing about it, like we normally do. Couple days later this episodes gets posted, I watch it, and behold, I somehow managed to predict part of the video without actually seeing it yet. Spy indeed does visit Scout's mom when Scout isn't around. How did I know? Idon'tknow I just did I guess- (This story is based on true events, it sounds staged but me and my best friend have known each other for 9 years, we're crazy)
I like the fact that in one of the pictures at 6:42 has Jeremy's older brothers in it which makes this frame at 2:07 sadder because Jeremy was her youngest son and now he's all grown up
I like how the whole episode is built on relationships between scout's mom and spy, and how they try to keep it in secret from scout. It was make me laugh and warms my herat. An of course, Pootis is best lil boy.
2 things can happen with series 1: The recall is actually a subverting of expectations and medimedes is actually cool. Ms Pauling is thrown out of a 7 story building

The fact that even after the 10+ time I've watched this video fully, I'm still I'm still super happy and laughing and still hit hard with that beautiful scene at the end, is just a huge testimant to how gifted Quazies is. These pootis animations have developed a near and dear place in my heart. And I loved the jerma ones too lol, but pootis is so damn perfect.
This series is a gift that keeps on giving. One aspect I really find myself enjoying more and more as I go and rewatch it over and over again is the sound design. The explosion when Pootis throws the paprika, the Alphys dialogue noises over the news broadcast, and all the little sound effects are so great. Plus the music! I love that the toy store has this elevator music vibe. And by far my favorite use of a song in this show is the Avatar Love theme at the end with Pootis looking out the window. I might be too emotional, but it makes me tear up everytime. It fits so perfectly and recontextualizes the theme for Pootis' loneliness so well. Scout's Ma putting the blanket on him is just the icing on the cake. This series is really good, and you do an excellent job with it. I'm really thankful it exists.

I wonder how Valve feels about this. I mean its even well grounded in terms of the TF2 universe, not lore speaking, but when it comes to characters and TF2 items. Funny story: the other day at the wonderful high school I go to, I was sitting outside for lunch with my best friend. We were talking about random stuff till it all lead to our conversation about TF2. I don't even clearly remember how it started, I just know it had to do with the kind of convos Spy and Scout would have without anyone around. One of them was particularly talking about how Spy would know about Scout's secrets when he was age 10, regardless of the fact he wasn't around. I remember blurting out, without missing a beat, "You don't know about the times I visited your mother at night". We went to class laughing about it, like we normally do. Couple days later this episodes gets posted, I watch it, and behold, I somehow managed to predict part of the video without actually seeing it yet. Spy indeed does visit Scout's mom when Scout isn't around. How did I know? Idon'tknow I just did I guess- (This story is based on true events, it sounds staged but me and my best friend have known each other for 9 years, we're crazy)
I like the fact that in one of the pictures at 6:42 has Jeremy's older brothers in it which makes this frame at 2:07 sadder because Jeremy was her youngest son and now he's all grown up
