There's so many opinions nowadays. There's no reason to overpay for tools. Most of my tools are from Harbor Fright, and they work great, and they don't break. Great comparison. Thanks for sharing your honesty
one tool i think is undervalued and easily missed are impact screwdrivers, like the " QUINN Heavy Duty Impact Screwdriver Kit, 9 Piece " even just comparing some of the cheaper ones would be awesome
Great video, Quinn's quality is underrated in my opinion. Would use the Quinn set for my wife's car to have emergency tools on the road. That's my next goal to have an emergency set in each car because you never know when you might need it.
This set would be perfect for that No need to spend tons of money on a set that may not get used much but still good quality when you need The Quinn set fits the bill perfectly
Tip about HF warranty - if you break one tool in a set ( like this Quinn ) you must bring the entire set back ( no missing pieces). If you lose any socket (10mm😢) warrenty can be voided!
I think I heard something like that before but wasn't sure My HF has warrantied stuff for me that wasn't even a lifetime warranty product Do you have a link where it states so?

Lies, I’ve never had a issue returning one socket or tool out of a set. They like when you return a set so they can put it on the self and discount it, but you DO NOT NEED TO RETURN THE WHOLE SET. also, I’ve had that tekton set since 2018 and it’s by far the best socket master set I’ve ever had, I’ve made so much money from just that set alone.
It’s a great set for $50 The color coding on the Quinn sockets helps a lot but I think the Tekton ratchet and extensions are better Is it $40 better? For some it is and for other it isn’t Thanks for watching and commenting!
Quinn is pretty nice but i usually just go Pittsburgh unless i need a more durable too tbh, just got a husky mechanic set for 99 tho which im happy with

I do like the tekton case because of the labels for the socket sizes. All of my cases get loose and many sockets end up falling out when the case gets banged around some.
I have this Tekton 1/4 master set and a ton of other Tekton tools. I have been a huge fan of the brand but disppointed in their price increases over the years. I am currently looking at options for a 1/2 chrome 6 point master set and ran into these Quinn sets as an option. I am not knocking Tekton at all just very mindful of costs.
I agree 100% I love tekton as well but the price increases have been rough I remember the 1/4 master set being $65 now it's $90 I eventually went to get the Quinn 1/2 master set. Not that I work on anything that big just hate when I need a socket larger than 24mm or 1 inch and I don't have it

They are both real nice sets, but forty bucks for the Quinn is hard to beat. Personally I need a small set for my truck, so I guess I would keep it in there under the seat along with some wrenches and a few other tools. Thanks for the opportunity and thanks for the video.

That's false I have asked several HF store managers this. Bring in the broken tool that's it. Now losing one yea thats an issue

Yeah I've seen comparisons
There's just slight differences in the Quinn to avoid lawsuits but you can swap GW and Quinn internals and it works fine
