Wonderful. Its rare places so old still stand and in proper shape! Its a shame people destroy beautiful artifacts. People just sling paint carelessly around on to the paintings, its honestly a shame. Places like these hold more stories than any library could.

My family were free masons. My great grandfather, grandma, my mother and her siblings were raised their first 12yrs of life as masons in Wewahitchka Florida. I'd like to learn more about them as well, this was an awesome video

there once were several mansions in Nashville , Tn. My brother in law and I explored a few back in the 70s. One had a 1950s hearse parked in the garage and a magnificent staircase in the house. they are all gone now.

This is next to my house! It's a gorgeous mansion. My mother used go go here for new year when she was younger (her friend lived there).
The man who takes care of it now actually used to live there for years. He's sad to let it sit and rot so he decided go take it upon himself and go every day making sure it doesn't get ruined by people.

European abandoned buildings have so much deep history and especially this one. I feel like they should take the building in and then turn it into a museum, since there’s just so much art and the mansion is just so beautiful I wish I could see it myself!!!

Lots mansions in the 18 c had that kind of secret looking door so that it doesnt spoil the interior harmony. I even noticed lots of mansions have 2 doors in the same wall that lead to the same room but theyre in it for the decoration and then another door that leads to another different room placed in not a desirable spot so they just blend it with the walls and place a small knob to preserve the harmony of the wall. Literally in every 18 c house ive seen.

My pop was a 23rd degree Mason, Shriner, and a few other things. Mom was Eastern Star and my brother Mason and my sister and I Job's Daughters and Rainbow Girls, growing up. This was all back in the 70s when I was growing up. You are correct about the main chair with one on each side.
