I was just sitting here listening to Broken Bells when I thought, man, I want to see the guy play this riff, so I googled "Mall & Misery Live" and then I got to watch the guy play this riff.
The guitar riff in this song is SOLID GOLD. I love the way it tears right out of the bassy, melodic ambience. The whole album is good, buy it, but buy it _mostly_ so you can blast this song through your biggest speakers at full volume.
can you imagine if somehow Broken Bells and the Postal Service somehow came together? It would be explosive. Though shared vocals might be a bit weird...
@cobraswan Thank your source for me...I thought on first look it was a Rick but I knew it wasn't. Unfortunately, i think they discontinued that bass, but it's sweet. Do you know where he picked it up?
@curiousnomad yea dude, it happens all the time. my friends and i were using our auto joint roller across from la zona rosa and wiz kalifa asked if we could roll him one. im not a big follower of him, but it was still pretty cool. i saw jake jyllenhal and the lead singer from metric chilling at the cellar door while my friend and I grabbed some dinner. its pretty cool
Notice how he says "all the shit they sell". They must have forced him to censor it on the album. The official recording says "all the things they sell". Meh, I hate record companies. They're just as bad as malls.
"from my little $189 point-n-shoot camera." I you only knew how to use it. Gotta predict the future by a coupla seconds, dude. And stop constantly moving.
This is an incredible moment in my life that I will never forget. Every time I go past that parking garage now, I always think of this day.
lucky to have witnessed
I’m so jealous I want to barf

I repeat again: I love it.
Danger Mouse is so awesome he can play the drums with a guitar.
this is so great. played 3x and cant stop
The intro to this song sounds like Pink Floyd...I heart it so much.
Like something off of momentary lapse in reason or division bell? Or something earlier?
i'mLOVIN'it
Excallent! James and Danger Mouse should re-record the album with their touring band.
Reminds me a lot of Television, and that's a high compliment.
they are pretty good live
Thank you for video!
i HATE those people sitting with their backs turned to this incredible thing, wish so hard i was there!
At least the guy with the black shirt at 1:37 was feeling it
@@carloslozano2047 such is life, what use are words of wisdom to the unwise.. as some clever person said once

Does anyone know what kind of Bass guitar that is? It's orange to the left. It's sick!!

Have you ever heard Barry Manilow in a parking garage?? Let's just say it literally gives these guys a run for their money!
NICE:)
боя сойти с ума как охуиительно
The moment I walked out of that shit relationship with this as my anthem. Will never not slap .
Be the girl who "just works at the mall" She's the one.
WTF? Do you wander around Austin during SXSW and run across Broken Bells or Jack White in some random place? I guess so.
I hear drums but see no one on the drum set. wat
this under a freeway to something? lol

He said "from all the shit they sell" in staid of "from the things they sell" I wonder why he removed profanity from the original lyrics
The bassist is high as fuck.
Awesome video! If ya get a minute you should check out one of ours! Hope you enjoy it!
