Learning that listening to one another while playing is as important as listening to one another while speaking, rather than merely formulating what you will play (or speak) next.
This is still the best version I have listened to. Flawless musicianship, great combination. I have great respect for all these jazz greats! If only world leaders stop fighting and start appreciating good music.... Lotsa love from Malaysia ❤️

I love this version and also Monty Alexander's playing on his "Perception" album. Monty's bass player on that album was Paul Desmond's collaborator in the Dave Brubeck Quartet, Eugene Wright.
The particular rhythms used in this extended piece are my favorite feature - they appeal specifically to me as does Baker and Desmond's musical genius. Thank you for sharing😊.
