The strangest thing happened last night in a dream. Before bed I asked God to protect me in my sleep from sinful, lustful thoughts or any demonic activity or people entering my dreams via astral projection. I was having a dream where this girl started to try and seduce me, I then realised I was in a dream and said, get away from me in the name of Jesus Christ. Then the dream stopped. I'm so pleased this is working, I can protect myself from the physical world but I'm glad I am also protected when I sleep. My dream life does seem `cleaner' in general. I used to have really random dreams about murder and being shamed about things etc. Since I started praying before bed and asking for protection it has improved.
Wow, Josh this really really helped me. God allowed me to discover your RUclips channel in this season of my life to start convicting me of my laziness and get me into the word. It's amazing to see how God uses his people to edifying others in the body.
True Indeed... I was just thinking this when he mentioned Psalms 119... I Just yesterday looked up that Same Scripture. Another Teacher mentioned it, but I wasn't expecting Josh to mention the same Scripture within a day apart.

I started reading the Bible only two months ago. I started reading the New Testament and now I'm reading Proverbs. The next one will be the book of Job.
What is helping me a lot is "The Bible Project" on youtube. In very short videos they give a summary about each book of the Bible.
It´s very interesting.
I'm so happy and thankful to have come across your channel, I've been praying for God to help me learn the Bible and to understand/read the entire thing. It's very hard to find a genuine church to attend, your channel has helped me tremendously within the past few days-- learned alot. I've always had lots of faith/relationship with God but I've never got around to read the entire Bible for myself. Thank you for being so motivated!

I'm going to start fasting and prayer before each new moon so that the Lord will deliver my town from this and stir up a revival here. It would be great if you could pray for us as well. My town is called Black River Falls and it's in Wisconsin.
I was moved to set fasting & prayer dates by the scripture Matthew 17:21, because I believe meth demons are the worst kind and this will take a lot of prayer and powerful movement of the spirit to cleanse us and heal us of this affliction.

Can you tell me examples of the differences between kjv and niv. I have a kjv. I normally read along in different versions on my phone.

Looks like a dollar store copy. They are very simple and in paperback.
These youth leaders in college came to my neighborhood and gave me a bible I didn't know much or anything at all about version of the bible but know I do they gave me a NIV lol thanks for that plus on the app to didn't know why they had the LETTERS that changed the chapters up. Do you use the app? I guess I don't know much cause I don't be into as much as I know I should and maybe I should go to school for it.

Blue Letter Bible on Google apps. I heard about it from Chuck Missler (definitely look this guy up) and have been using it ever since. It really helped me out and I can now say that have I read the Bible (KJV) from cover to cover. Maybe this will help some people? God bless.
What version and year of the KJV? Because there are many versions of KJV.
Its just hard for me to read KJV because there are so many words in there I don't understand. I'm only fourteen.

Get a different translation. Don't listen to any nonsense saying you must only read the KJV.
Dirty water still has water but people should prefer clean water.
@Christina Dimidenko Stick with the King James Christina, I have two 14 year old girls, and I have seen them get wisdom slowly but surely, God honors his Word, and he will give you wisdom and understanding, like Josh said, don't get discouraged, pray and ask God to give you wisdom, and he will. One other thing that I thought if that can help is a computer software program that is absolutely free, it's call the King James Pure Bible Search, just google it, it's really cool, and extremely helpful, you can look up any word that is in the King James Bible, and it will tell you how many times that word is in the Bible, and it will pull up every scripture verse that word is used in, there is also a built in dictionary that you can use to search the meaning of words you do not understand. Satan is also referred to a the prince of the power of the air, and that invisible power in the air is electricity, and your brain has electrical current running through it, devils, and or Satan can and will stick thoughts into your mind in order to deceive you, this world and the things that are in it are complex, you're right about that, but there are things you cannot see with the naked eye, evil spirits are one of them, and they do have the power to "seduce" you, or to "deceive" you into thinking the way you do. You need to take God's Word and put it on as armour to protect, defend, and stand against the wiles of the devil, because from the sound of it, you're already well on your way to being deceived. God gave you a tool, use it, and don't trust yourself, because whatever you think you know, you don't.
