Was neither a fan of Celtic Frost, but their last album "Monotheist" blew me away. "A Dying God Coming into Human Flesh" still gives me shivers. I think Triptykon was basically the logical continuation of the album.

Yes, "Monotheist" was already more Triptykon than celtic frost i´d say. I started with Triptykon, but i never really got really fond of celtic frost, except for "montheist". And í´ve seen them live twice, it was awesome. Kinda spiritual, not "just" a concert.

To me, music of Triptykon is a symbol of all our secrets, inner darkness, our yin and yan, our animals we have inside. All those thing that only we know the best, but what maybe should have never been discovered. Hypnotic, magical, cold, sexy, natural and dark. I love it.

Great band. Triptykon were very much a continuation of the sound from Celtic Frost's last album, Monotheist. Would definitely recommend that album.

Good video. I remember that i bought "Eparistera Daimones" just because of the cover of the album. I had some time to spend to get my first tattoo and i thought "oh, i like that cover and i think i read something about triptykon a couple of days ago, let´s buy it". I sat in my car, listening to the album and,....well it didnt kick me like i thought it would. After i got my tattoo i continued to listen to the music, i didnt work......A couple of days later, constantly listening to it, it took me away and since then it´s one of the greatest bands i´ve ever listened.
To everyone, if you got the chance to see them live, buy those tickets, it´s not a concert but a spiritual experience.

Triptykon is one of my top 5 favourite bands, the only disappointing thing is that Aurorae is the only song folks react to

Incredible instrumental composition. I agree with Hedgy, this song builds up feelings. For me, it's more doomish and progressive metal than black metal, which I love. Again, another great discovery.

That was deep in a very good way. I was a bit derailed at the beginning from the intro drums because all I could think of was Zep's When The Levee Breaks.

I just love how insightful you are with your reviews and opinions :) Could you please react to a band called Sybreed and their song Isolate? It's also very atmospheric and very heavy at the same time!

hello from Norway. really enjoy listening to your opinions on metal music. You should do something by Meshuggah - clockworks / future breed machine / Neurotica / Break Those Bones Whose Sinews Gave It Motion. Are all cool "starter" songs by meshuggah that might interest some people. It's not background music, so you have to put your head into it and invest a little time. But if you do get into it... It is awesome.

Wow just searched through his video and not one Meshuggah video up there. Good call.

Satter and Roadburn enjoyed both. Your all right. Reminds me of how my son explained things when he was little. Beatles and Judas Priest only bands like all....off to work
